Interesting, although I doubt it would have spent its time jumping Hadrosaurs as in the illustration!  ::) The 'Large Packs of Dromaeosaurids Taking Out Hadrosaurs' meme kind of irks me. As to S. sullivani, if it did indeed have an advanced sense of smell, I wonder if that made it a sort of Cretaceous dog?

If it had a good sense of smell maybe it sought smaller prey?

Due to its size, maybe it was either a scavenger, like a vulture, or an omnivore that used its nose to find many different types of things to eat like a bear does.
