Genesis mod (Minecraft)- Prehistoric Dimension

Hi,
I'm Anaghold, and creator of the mod called "Genesis" on Minecraft. Genesis is a extraordinary dimension includes the time of the Precambrian until the end of the Cretaceous period. It consists of many unique biomes, realistic flora and a phenomenal diversity of animal species.
For this mod, we were inspired from reality and history, but that does not mean that the mod is quite real. There are inconsistencies, we know that, but it's a game... The principal was to keep it fun and keep the spirit of Minecraft.It's been almost two years since the mod is in development. Between these two years, it has not always been in development, we made breaks, sometimes forced because of important updates of Mojang. We have completely rewritten the mod just a few months.
Now, we want to continue our good work. I hope that despite the shortcomings of the mod, you'll stay humble. We put a lot of heart, energy and time into this project, but it was a pleasure every time.


Genesis Adventure

In the Overworld, you can see the large standing stones forming alignments. The shamans say that these standing stones have magical powers, the stone circles are transmission lines to capture the energy of lightning and some sacred places are used for time travel. On your way, you can also find ancient items and rusty octaedrite that shamans call "lightning stones". These meteorites raise adoration and respect, they made sacred items for ritual.
Their purpose is to use the cosmic energy of menhirs and magical powers of meteorites to generate a time warp to reach the Genesis dimension.
Rich, strange, and hostile, the Genesis dimension is a primitive world where there is dinosaurs, primitive mammals, giant insects, marine and flying reptiles, enigmatic animals, giant mushrooms, seed ferns, trees without wood, and very old lava and rocks.

You can't access at the dimension if you wear items on you. However, you can report Genesis items in Overworld. As soon as you arrived on Genesis, you must look pebbles near rivers or oceans to obtain a chopping-tool by hitting the pebble against a hard rock. This a very primitive tool that allows you to break the wood.

With this wood, you can build a workbench for knapping stones and make a campfire.

Find a cave or a fairly safe place and begin knapping the toolhead from the pebbles. There are many types of rock, each with different properties. You can use granite, rhyolite, quartzite, dolerite or brown flint.
To finish creating the tool, you need wood billets and fibers. The fibers are found on plants called Sphenophyllum. They usually grow in wetlands.
When you create a toolhead, it has quality "chipped." They can then be polished on a polissoir to improve its properties.

To feed, you can start with small dinosaurs hunt or gather wild fruits and rhizomes in nature.
It is best to cook your meat to improve the quality of it and so you don't get sick. To start the campfire, you must use a flint and marcasite. Both stones can be obtained in the form of nodules in limestone.

You can make weapons like the spear, knife, and bow. The choice of wood of your bow and arrows used will also give different properties.
Then you can use animal hides to make clothing. The hide must be tanned before on a tanning rack.

You can also make ceramic pottery like bowls, vessels, or cooking pots. With plants, fruits, mushrooms and other resources, you can make porridge and dyes in a cooking pot placed on the campfire.

You can make animal farms through eggs that appear on plants or in nests.
Finally, if you are interested in magic and the supernatural, you can use the menhirs to obtaining power on items and achieve effects on the environment.
Genesis still full of many secrets that you will discover during your adventure.
