Feathered Dinosaurs and Ancient Birds, Recent Acquisitions

Here are a few of my new feathered dinosaur and ancient bird acquisitions. I have to say, the detail on all the figures are fantastic, even the scarlet macaw archaeopteryx! Hard to pick a favorite! They are as follows; 1) Colorata Velociraptor and Deinonychus, 2) Colorata Oviraptor and Sinosauropteryx, 3) PNSO Archaeopteryx and Schleich Archaeopteryx, 4) Schleich Microraptor, Colorata Microraptor, Safari Ltd Microraptor, 5) PNSO Confuciusornis and Starlux Phorusrhacos.

These are great acquisitions!
I love birds and avian dinosaur figures! I hate Schleich for not selling their best figures solemnly but as parts of sets noone needs.

Yep. If you have seen the Gefiederte Raptoren Set, the Microraptor in there does not look that nice, paint-wise. And the other Raptors look rather terrible, as if they have been plucked.

I agree, it was tough buying the entire set for just two figures. Sadly, what made the purchase hurt more was that it felt like I paid more for the poorly done plastic stone features, than the figures themselves.
