Does anyone remember this book? It was written by a guy named Timothy Bradley. It had a lot of beautiful illustrations and was very fanciful. I'm thinking about picking it up again.
What I love about Allosaurus is that it lived an extremely violent life that was rife with broken bones, cuts, scrapes, infections, sprains, and yet it just kept on truckin.

I have Bradley's Care & Feeding Of Dinosaurs ( http://www.amazon.com/Care-Feeding-Dinosaurs-Timothy-Bradley/dp/0761314792/ref=sr_1_14?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1397171373&sr=1-14 ) for fun/nostalgia. It's a very good, but outdated (E.g. Non-feathered coelurosaurs), kid's book. That's why I think Conway et al. should seriously consider doing an adult book version of "The Dinosaur Pet Guide" in the style of All Yesterdays.

Each species certainly requires it's own special care...for most  I would say it's not even feasible for an individual to care for, much less feed a dinosaur.

The budgies I keep are inclined to disagree with you.

Is this book large? The illustrations look amazing!

It's not a particularly large book. It was a lot of fun reading through it as a kid.
