A new paper, in open access, discusses the osteology and structural variability of Anchiornis based on several new specimens:

The authors consider Aurornis to be a junior synonym of Anchiornis, but Andrea Cau refutes this:

Sounds interesting. Anchiornis has already changed paleontology in many ways, such as advancing the world of feathered dinosaurs and teaching us that we can determine the color of dinosaurs by looking at fossils.
