Finally starting my own photo thread! ::)
I can only do so much with my little Nikon Coolpix L810 point and shoot but suggestions welcome!

"The Great Flood", Carnegie Diplodocus

"Reflection", Carnegie Diplodocus

"Golden Rays", Carnegie Miragaia

Neosodon

Very good photography! I like the Miragaia one the best. The reflections look cool but the trees kind of ruin the sense of scale.

"3,000 km to the south, the massive comet crashes into Earth. The light from the impact fades in silence. Then the shock waves arrive. Next comes the blast front. Finally a rain of molten rock starts to fall out of the darkening sky - this is the end of the age of the dinosaurs. The Comet struck the Gulf of Mexico with the force of 10 billion Hiroshima bombs. And with the catastrophic climate changes that followed 65% of all life died out. It took millions of years for the earth to recover but when it did the giant dinosaurs were gone - never to return." - WWD

Even with the trees looking oversized, Reflection it's my favorite, the Diplodocus looks majestic.

I agree about the trees in Reflection. If you crop the top off the picture so the Diplodocus is horizontally central, or even above the centre, the trees are less distracting and the reflection looks better too.

Megalosaurus

The idea of the flooded forest is a brilliant one. You can use the idea in a better composed picture to enter the diorama contest.
Sobreviviendo a la extinción!!!

ZoPteryx

Very nice photos!

Looks Awesome!

"Look Before you Leap", Carnegie Microraptor

"The Endless Marsh", Carnegie Corythosaurus

"Lakeside Lunch", Wild Safari Iguanodon

"Oh God I Think Something Touched My Foot," Carnegie Brachiosaurus

Took some more photos yesterday when it was super nice outside!
Fun fact: I didn't notice the rock(?) in the Iguanodon's mouth until after the shoot. He got dunked in the water and it must have got something wedged in his mouth. ::)

AcroSauroTaurus

You've got some very naturalistic photos. Almost like you photographed the real animals.(but mini versions of course) ;)
I am the Dinosaur King!

ceratopsian

"Oh God I Think Something Touched My Foot" is the perfect caption.  He looks so very alarmed!

Nice photographs.

LeapingLaelaps

Thank you all so much for the kind comments and feedback! I went back to my photography area (a local campground/park) and went to this wooded area near a pond that had some sort of water pump. It must have a lot of iron or something in it, the water and algae was an orange/red color. Made for interesting photography!

"Uphill Battle", Schleich Pentaceratops

"Camoflage", Schleich Triceratops

"Hunting Lesson", Papo Brown T-Rex and Brown Baby T-Rex

Now if you'll excuse me, I need to go nurse my mosquito bites :-[

"Imagine if you could travel back in time, to a time long before man"

Neosodon

The muddy water works really well. I like the Triceratops one the best.
