Hey!

I was just wondering if anyone could tell me the scale of the Neanderthals in Safari Ltd's Prehistoric life "toob".

They're a bit bigger than the other models in the "toob" and they almost seemed like 1:40 scale when I compared them to the Carnagie 1:40 dinosaurs, but I can't tell for sure.

Thanks in advance!  :D

Oh I should've clarified that. They're about 2 inches tall.

1 inch = 1 meter in 1:40 scale so the figures are in 1:40 scale

It's quite simple to calculate scale.
You need the length of the figure and the length in real life.
I'm in Europe so I'm using metrical system ( 2 inches=5 cm )

Neanderthal in real life = 1,7 mt max (from wikipedia) or 170 cm

170:5= 34

So the Neanderthal is at 1:34 scale ( or 1:35, a common used scale..  ;) )

A 5cm (2") Neanderthal figure at 1:40 should be 2 mt ( 6 ft and 67") in real life.

( p.s. I'm assuming that Neanderthal is 2".. You need to be quite precise in measuring tiny figures if you need the right scale )

:)

Forget what I said, because I forgot that Neanderthals were shorter so all my calculations were wrong.
