Iv noticed in the last few years the type of plastic collect and schleich are using for there dinosaurs isn't the exact same
plastics as what they were previously using. It seems like a very hard rubbery material unlike the more flexible rubber or plastic they previously used but i'm not sure as there little to no information on  what each figure is made from. In my view it seems like a high quality rubber material compared to the plastic they used to use 7 or 8 yrs ago. Of course the material they use is getting better but i'm just unsure of the type of plastic they use.

I think in general it's PVC (polyvinylchloride) they use. However, all Schleich figures I yet had in hands) seem to be made from the same material and it is less dense than what is used by CollectA (Schleich figures are buoyant, while CollectAs sink) and also the type of material on CollectAs seems to vary, for example the Mosasaurus and Thalassomedon are very soft and flexible, while the Rajasaurus is made of a comparably hard and sturdy plastic. I am unaware how/in which types/variations PVC can be produced, but I think there's way more than one variation. For example those hollow figures that are called vinyl figures are chemically the same as those PVC figures, but the production method for the figure differs. Bullyland on the other hand does use a plastic that is PVC free, but I dunno what matrial it is.
