So, somehow, the most important paleo-mammal discovery of the year so far has been missed!

That's right, fossil Chasmaporthetes teeth from the Yukon! Which...I knew about, many people did. But apparently nobody ever published on them? I recall they were id'd as Adcrocuta for quite a while.

Anyway, it's very exciting that the best mammals were in Canada. Which was probably a given, since they made it to places south of here.
