Vroo-oh-don does it exist?

Hi all some Dinosaur name is in my mind but it won't leave me, does it exist?

Vroo-Oh-Don is how you pronounce it, I kinda forgot the true spelling.
it's like an Iguanodont or a Hadrosaur, either one, something like that; but I have no idea how it came in to my memory after the first place after looking through my main Dinosaur books which are these:

Collins Printed Encyclopedia of Dinosaurs And Prehistoric Animals by Collins Australia
Dinosaurs : An Illustrated History by Edwin H. Colbert
Hunting Dinosaurs by Louie Psihoyos
The Dinosaurs by William Stout

These are my four major books but they are not of these days, still I ask my self how rofl

yer very odd, now I come to think of it, might be due to the stress I have been having the past weeks heh. I hate that sometimes. This was something I used to know.
Troodon was the most intelligent looking Dinosaur also how Dinosaur Man was created from the big eyes the large brain capacity, very interesting  for such an old reptile as where it was very far ahead for it's time.

Keep in mind that Troodon is more like some sort of bird. And it would be rather unlikely that it evolves into some sort of lizardman. The true sapient Dinosaur would not look much different than a standard theropod.

Yeah maybe, ah well   Trachodon was one of my first duckbill dinosaurs I learned about.
That even being a Hadrosaur it's self, you'd expect to learn of the Hadrosarus it's self at first, since that is the host of the family type

And yet Trachodon isn't an actual, valid name at all anymore!

Aha I see yes yes, the Trachodon has been given the fianl name of Anatotitan copei. , this was it's new name given in 1990, before that it was named: Anatosaurus copei

When Trachodon was first discovered, it was just a few teeth.  Hadrosaur teeth are pretty much identical so there is no way to tell what Hadrosaur they came from.

Seeing as 'Trachodon' teeth were not associated with any non-dental remains, there is nothing to associate them with. Ergo, the teeth cannot be assumed to belong to an undescribed species.  Hence the 'invalid' or 'synonym' status.

And why is it a shame? It's just a name.

By the word shame, I meant it's a shame that they don't know from what Hadrosaur the teeth are from, as they would never know now.
I never meant that it's a shame that this Dino was misnamed as Trachodon, even so that name gives me many memories.
