Apparently there's only four features distinguishing it from Argentinosaurus, its sister taxon in their analysis (in Lognkosauria, by the way). A. mayorum in the near future, anybody?

Also, can we talk about that there was only a single figure depicting the fossils in the whole paper when we have six individuals compromising, like, half of the body?

ZoPteryx

Nice to see this titanic dino named!  ;D

Yeah, I found that annoying as well.

Stuckasaurus (Dino Dad Reviews)

My most recent book review covers a book that recounts the discovery and excavation of Patagotitan quite nicely!
It of course hypes it up as "the biggest dinosaur ever" on the cover, but the work of all the paleontoogists involved in the whole process is the real focus of this book.

Serendipitously, the final page shows the completed skeleton at a size that scales surprisingly well with my 1:40 scale Safari sauropods! Unfortunately, I think it also makes it clear that a similarly sized Patagotitan toy is incredibly unlikely any time soon.
