I know, I know. I told y'all that my next repaint is probably on the Safari LTD. Anzu. But I haven't even ordered this model yet! So rip this.
Instead I have this for you: A repaint of Schleich's 2018 Psittacosaurus. I saw this guy on sale earlier this year and found the sculpt fantastic! (I know, it's not entirely accurate since Psittacosaurus was very likely fully bidepal as an adult, but eh, the pose and sculpt is great!)
So yeah, basically waiting for new schleich announcements is like playing russian roulette.
But onto the repaint, since this figure is most likely P. sibiricus I put on a color sheme similar to that of the one they discovered. Ikept the countershading since it can come quite in handy for a prey animal.
Thats it for now, Tell me what you think about it below!

Beautiful repaint!  It's a definite improvement.  Great job on the photos too!  These are some of the most convincing outdoor shots i've seen on here.

Woah!! It's amazing how much a decent paintjob can make or break a decent base sculpt. I wouldn't have picked that for a Schleich if I hadn't already known!

And I didn't think this figure could get any better! Good job!

Nice palette of colors you chose and I like your scenery choice. I felt this model was such a step up for schleich only to miss a crucial step due to the incorrect hands and arms. Still a superb psittacosaurus model, and better than most offered.

I especially like the repainting of the head of the Schleich psittacosaurus with darker colors than the rest of the body. The landscape looks great and the photographs are beautiful. My congratulations.

Big improvement over the factory paint job, it really brings the detail out and shows off how nice of a sculpt it really is. Nice work. :)
