My cousin who lives in maryland just got married this past weekend.  I decided to go down a day early to check out the smithsonian and to hang out with a certain paleontologist for a solid chunk of the day.

After I went to the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History and took a bunch of pics.  More coming soon.

Sounds like you had a great trip!  Those dioramas are stunning! :o

Jetoar

I like it !. The ancient aquarium is a good idea and I think that lot of museums need these reconstructions to explain the past of this planet better  ^-^.
[Off Nick and Eddie's reactions to the dinosaurs] Oh yeah "Ooh, aah", that's how it always starts. But then there's running and screaming.

{about the T-Rex) When he sees us with his kid isn't he gonna be like "you"!?
