Currently looking to get this figure in a trade, but I'm not sure how much they go for. Any info would be much appreciated.

ceratopsian

I paid $7 for mine (plus postage) from DeJankins back in 2015.

They go for quite a lot now unfortunately. I was watching one on eBay a month or so ago that wound up selling for upwards of $30. I hope Safari remakes it one day.

Woah! Of course that price also probably depends on which country you are in. Some pieces may fetch quite high prices in some, but sell for cheap in others. Still, I'm glad that I got one a few years ago from Urzeitshop, alongside the Favorite Stegosaurus and Pteranodon.

Someone let T. Rex out of his pen
I'm afraid those things'll harm me
'Cause they sure don't act like Barney
And they think that I'm their dinner, not their friend
Oh no

Got mine 6-7 years ago on eBay for a few dollars only. I don't doubt that they fetch a lot more now, but it would be possibly be a good acquisition in a lot, or selling for much less than $30 by someone not aware of its relative scarcity.

That about what I paid for one.  As good as a figure as it is, I do not think it one that has a high amount of people looking for.  So I would think that a fair price would be around $10-15 dollars.

If you've got the time, scan the lots of figures on ebay. I've seen it more than once in bundles/lots of small figures, like lots with several Safari Toob figures. I think it sometimes gets mistaken for a mini figure...

The figure is small but not exactly a minifigure as you say. Safari Leptoceratops is almost as large as Schleich's psittacosaurus.

I check eBay almost everyday, no luck so far. Hopefully one does pop up, I really like this model.

Hi Loon,

I have this model and am not massively attached to it, so would be willing to trade. It's in good condition only ever having been displayed. Would you have, or could you get hold of any Marx or MPC models to swap for it? We can't get them easily in the UK and I like the small vintage dino models.

There is of course the problem of a certain virus which means I can't do a lot at this end for the time being, but I'm ok to hold on to it until we all get through this - i.e. I'm not going anywhere!

Please PM me if it's better to discuss away from the thread.

Thanks and stay safe...

Loon

Thanks, avatar_Crackington @Crackington , but I actually just got this model in the mail yesterday from a trade. The offer is really appreciated though.

Take care!
