Hello to everyone in this great forum!
I am a Dinosaur fan since I was a child... I had a really addiction.
But during teenage time, studying and then job there was no space for dinosaurs beside reading about new researches etc.
I have too confess

Now at the age of 37 I decided  make a small diorama corner on a shelf with some models of my all time favourites.
I allways squint at the awsome Sideshow dinosaur collection. But I never ordered one because of the high price plus high shipping costs.
Now they are out of sale and the new stuff of sideschow dinosaurs is not my taste.

The BIG ones arrived^^

King T.rex & Apatosaurus V2 from Sideshows (now plus Stegosaurus and Triceratops)

I got the T.rex for 375 bucks because of one missing half claw... i fixed it with sculpey -New.
I reapaint all claws in glossy green-black (like Emu /ostrich).

They match again and looks more realistik.
Flash of photo is too much on pic...but it really looks much better now.

Apatosaurus as possible Agrgentinosaurus size 1:35/32 scale PNSO figures
plus Eofauna palaeoloxodon as a 4,2m shoulder hight Elephant and 1.75m human ( Its a little bit to small -i will replace it with the 54mm Pegasus Homo Neanderthalis)

Made additional bases for all models without a base.  So they better match as sculptures.
Including the PNSO titan.

I shoot them overall for the nearly the same price I would have payed with tax and shipping from USA to europe when they where released.
The Apatosaurus has no Issues.
The T.rex has one half footclaw... I fix that with my epoxy clay and some acrylic paint etc.

Damn they are GINORMOUS EPIC^^

The T.rex is a seperate eyecatcher for learning breaks etc.
SIdeshow Rex with Edu Toys T.rex Skeleton (only 45 bucks)

And the Apatosaurus fits perfectly with the PSNO 1:35 scale figures.

The PNSO T.rex is 36cm x (1:35) = 12.6m ....all other figures match in scale.

The Apatosaurus* with 110cm scales well with around 38m as a example for the largest dinosaurs ever lived.
*aka Argentinosaurus,Patagotinan,Dreadnoughtus or Supersaurus

I allways wished I had some well sculpted favourite dinosaurs in same scale for comparison and imagination. :D

Now Stegosaurus arrives^^ (so big)

Number four of the *big ones* in my collection! Triceratops arrives after the stego :D

Sideshow Triceratops vs T. rex
* Clash of the Titans*

Wow i love this Triceratops sculpt so much.
It has these massive front legs and Neck. A living bulldozer.
It really looks as massive as the skeleton structure (which I miss about other figures)

AND last but not least!

My last favorite piece of the line arrived - now I am satisfied.^^
Allosaurus vs. Camarasaurus next to Apatosaurus (sideshow)
Need a bigger shelf now...

__________

I got mine today (normal base) ...this base is much cooler but pricing(for europe....bad joke)
I have the sideshow Apatosaurus and Camarasurus and wanted a third sauropod that matches the scale.

So i have all 3 sauropod body forms.

My rating:

The size is huge and it fits perfect too the or two dinosaurs
The overall sculpt is ...good.
The head is really perfect (it lives)
The body detail is not as fine as my sideshow pieces...except the head!
I really wished the did some more layers on it and made some parts a bit more feshy and bloody rosy...if you know what i mean.

It´s good enough to look impressive BUT ...this piece is from 2019/2020!!! Where everybody can print in 3d top detail...
And my sideshow figures are 5-10 years older... so I expected MORE.
AND they costed 1/2 or 3/4 of this one...

The painting has not really much layers...back in grey ...belly sand clour.
To be honest it´s like the old 1993 movie Brachiosaurus...who looks cool but was overall the same inconspicuous coloured...like an elephant.
I am fine with that but as I said...you can paint something with 2 layers and it looks ok...
And you can airbrush it with X-layers and the same thing looks awsome.

Overall it´s looks fine and impressive ...and it´s the perfect piece for my scaling collection. I don´t regret it.
In comparison too other current JP pieces of Iron Studio and my older and less expensive Sideshow pieces (T.rex, Triceratops, Stego,Apatosaurus, Camarasurus vs. Allo)

i have to say, it´s (a bit) overpriced ... at least in europe.

Here are some pic: (The elephant is from PSNO, the native huntress is 1/24 (Tassili)

https://postimg.cc/gallery/56jX94c

Body detail is ok, Body coloring is mediocre...more layers Iron studio!
The head is nice...it lives. But missing painted nose / ear holes.
(perhaps some repaint - upgrade later)

It´s massive:
brachiosaurus is 78cm figure hight [standing] and 96cm from head to tail = 23m
apatosaurus is 110cm long = 26,4m
camarasaurus 70cm = 16,8 m
allosaurus 53cm = 12,7m (could be a larger relative)
human is 7,5cm (1/25 scale) = 1,80m
PNSO elephant is 17,5 cm shoulder hight = 4,20m (equal to the tallest african elephant ever recorded/shot)

So nice scaling overall :D  I have 3 primitive humans to paint ...than its really nice to see them all in realistic size comparison.

I will build the brachiosaurus a secound base with a broken tree ...where he stands with his forelimbs on.
With the same look and hight like the other 2 bases.
The same for the elephant and the humans (in small)

My last big piece - the Shane Foulkes Apatosaurus.
A color scheme like my smaller sideshow Apatosaurus.
The small base is a small river bed he is walking over.
I will ad some water and some plants, an some small animals (tamiya mesozoic creatures)

Final display with my PNSO African Elephant. Scaling perfectly and illustrates the real dimensions of these majestic animals.

Hello and welcome from another German member!  Seems you have found the right place to be on the web!  Never mind about our football team.  They are multi millionaires and it is only football. They will come over it very soon.

Welcome to our forum! Hope you find any useful information here and discover new models in our ever growing archive of dinosaurs and other prehistoric animals. Best  ;)

Ravonium

Welcome to this forum. I like that base in the last picture you posted  :)

Re: football: I personally think your country's team just wanted a break from being in the spotlight (in the long run)  :)  Besides, my country's team isn't exactly amazing either (although they are actually doing better than they did in 2014).

Absolutely fantastic pieces so far and cannot wait to see what else you will gather! Warm welcome all around!

I will advise to keep your dinosaur in relatively cool temperature places. My papo Spinosaurus warped lol

Hello and welcome to the forum! You have some really nice figures there.

Another German! We are slowly taking over the forum.  ;D

Welcome to the forum.

As for the footballers: Well, I don't care about it.
Jurassic Park is frightning in the dark
All the dinosaurs are running wild
Someone let T. Rex out of his pen
I'm afraid those things'll harm me
'Cause they sure don't act like Barney
And they think that I'm their dinner, not their friend
Oh no

Hello there! 😊 I'm sure the football team will just come back stronger. The custom base for your T. rex and Fallen Queen looks great! The Rebor T. rex also looks great with the PNSO Triceratops "Doyle" (why do they insist on naming them?!) and the Huanghetitan is spectacular! I'm also in my 30s, almost your age and have always loved and collected dinosaurs. I look forward to seeing your posts!

Very welcome to the DTF from a further German, too! Have a nice dino collecting time here!
Great and fine mini collection and a fantastic lava base! I really like the Rebor Dinos !
Happy further dino collecting...
