Paleo & Fish Collector

For the past year or so, I've been addicted to AliExpress. I purchased a complete, brand new set of PV marine reptiles (now sold out for good, sadly). I have found a few awesome things on AliExpress. I finished the Walking with Dinosaurs blind bag series after years of struggling to find the Quetzalcoatlus. I can confirm my WWD figure and PV figures are not bootlegs. I have personally only had good experiences with AliExpress. The retired prehistoric Safari sets are listed here, as their scarcity is becoming more apparent. I can't guarantee they'll be great quality, simply because later runs of Safari's toob figures are generally terrible compared to the early runs.

Here are my findings:

I wonder if those WWD minis are legit. If they are, I might buy the lot just to get that Alexornis.

I bought the WWD Quetzalcoatlus and it's material, paint, markings, and other characteristics are consistent with the rest of my WWD figures that I got for Christmas in 2014. I think they are legit. The same seller sold me legit PV marine reptiles a year ago.

The prehistoric mammals of Play Visions are legitimate at a glance compared to mine and honestly the price is very appealing to any collector. I understand that Aliexpress have a fairly reliable set of stores.

I think you are safe for a few reasons. I purchased legitimate PV marine reptiles from them when they had them in stock. I also have a complete set of PEC prehistoric mammals (knockoffs of the PV). Their quality and paint is pretty much the same, though my mammoth, homotherium, and uintatherium are darker in color than the originals. The ones pictured on AliExpress are noticeably different from my bootlegs.

Seller on Aliexpress sells the Safari Ltd Gorgosaurus (This seller also used to have some PV Marine reptiles and amphibians but I missed the chance to get them)

Never saw the PV extinct amphibians on here, but I did get the full set of PV marine reptiles from this shop.
