I also stress to be careful if buying from CGTrader. It's a well known reselling site with many stolen models available, kind of a wild west situation where anyone can just upload any random model to it.

Are you just winning a file for a 3D model which you'd need a modelling program to open, and you'd still have to pay to get printed?

I've noticed a similar thing on Shapeways, where different people are selling the same model with only slight modifications. For example this strange web-footed Triceratops:
