I read somewhere a while back that new saurophagnax fossils of record size were found in new mexico but unfortunately there has been no follow ups and no reports by any experts at all. It is now a few years since iv read this on some other forum and it didnt seem made up ,it seemed like an official discovery .
The reason why im asking is because if they are of record size it would they would be huge nearly equal to t rex..so if any members know more about this post the links ...

It would seem to make sense that an ecosystem well-stocked with gigantic herbivores, as the Morrison certainly was, should have some truly gigantic carnivores, too. Possibly relevant: a recent paper indicates bite marks from stupid-big predators on bones from the Mygatt-Moore Quarry in the Morrison of Wyoming.
