TRIVIA---in THE VALLEY OF GWANGI, the dinosaur colors shift from  brown/grey to blue/purple because special effects legend Ray Harryhausen was unable to properly adjust the colors due to time and budget problems.

Perhaps Harryhausen would have been cannier to make a virtue of Gwangi's changing hue - a psychedelic allosaur perfectly suited to the late 1960s!
