TRIVIA---Irish actor Jack McGowaran died violently in two movies. In THE GIANT BEHEMOTH, the second of Eugene Lourie's three giant dinosaur movies, McGowaran played paleontologist Dr. Sampson, who was killed when his helicopter was disintegrated by the radioactive impulses from the giant Paleosaurus. McGowaran is best known for playing director Burke Dennings, whose head is twisted completely around and thrown out of a window (offscreen) by Pazuzu-possessed Regan in THE EXORCIST.
