Hello all - question about "Orsenigo" toys?

Hey all - I just signed up to find out some info on my set of Orsenigo figures (http://www.dinosaurcollector.150m.com/oresnigo.htm)... I just "saved" them from my mom's attic :)  I was letting my 2 year old play with them, but it seems as though they might actually be worth something!... I'm pretty sure 3-year old me would think that idea was silly  :)  Back in the early 70's, I think my mom had to look everywhere for dino toys - and I have no idea how she ended up getting this set.  The bottoms of pretty well worn, but I could read "Orsenigo" and "made in Italy" on the bottom of the Dimetredon.  So I probably shouldn't let my son play with them in the tub any more, right?

There are definitely collectors out there that seek them out, and they have been known to fetch decent prices, more because of their age and collectible significance than because they look like accurate dinos!

So yeah, get your son some Safari or CollectA dinos instead.

All I know is that they are bloody rare and bloody expensive. I would love to have a set of these figures but they are not within my price range, not on ebay anyway (if you are lucky enough to ever find one there).

Wow, those are models only a mother could love ;)

OK, so the toys are now safe... we think we're gonna put them up on EBay - is there a ballpark number I should expect?  Or is it too random to guess?  I'll let ya know when the first one goes up if anyone is interested.

I have not seen one in a while. I seem to remember it being over $100 each, possibly in the $200+ range, but I could be remembering wrong. All I know for sure is that I could not afford the last one I saw. I am interesting in watching your listings but I probably won't be able to buy any. Good luck :)

I saw those when they popped up for sale, but I'm only looking for one of them. We'll see how the auction goes.
