Hello! I'm a new member here.

I have been a dino nerd since I was a kid. When JP 3 premiered, I loved the movie and the dinosaurs so much I watched it 3 times!  ;D  I actually wanted to be a paleontologist, but I gave up on that dream when I was informed that I can never dig up dinosaur fossils here in my country (Philippines), but only prehistoric mammals which do not interest me hehe. Just this year, I was introduced to the dinosaur figure collection hobby. For the longest time, I only had 4 figures which were labeled as "Dur Mei" and a book about Disney's Dinosaur given to me by my grandmother, but I eventually sold them to begin this hobby.  If only I knew of this hobby in my youth, I would have pursued a career in science or even art so I can be a paleo-artist. I really love the details of the figures I currently have which I regard as works of art. I prefer movie monster carnivores over scientifically accurate ones, that is why my first and favorite purchase for this new hobby is the Nanmu JP 3 Spinosaurus (but I must confess, the Mesozoic Life spino is a beauty). For herbivores, I am more forgiving. I currently own figures from Nanmu, Rebor, and PNSO, and Nanmu is currently my favorite. I hope to one day get a hold of higher end figures such as W-Dragon, Prime 1, and Iron Studios. Unfortunately, as I only started this hobby, I lost my chance to buy older models. I am fortunate enough to enjoy this new hobby despite the pandemic, which I hope soon ends. As my favorite quote goes, "Life, uh, finds a way."

Before I became a member here, I would read the forum posts about the figures, and boy did I learn a lot, especially about stability issues and pathetic paint jobs, so I avoided such figures. I am happy to be here and I hope to share as well to contribute to the growth of this forum. In the meantime, I am waiting for my pre-ordered figures, and I don't think I will stop soon  :D

Here I attached some photos, and I apologize for not bringing them out of their boxes. This is my humble and growing collection. I will release all of them soon once I get my display cabinet  ^-^
