07/01/17: Photobucket has decreed that I can no longer post images here without purchasing an upgrade. I wish it a miserable demise then. Please go to Page 10 for new photos courtesy of Flickr.

Some of you have already seen my mugs.

A couple of portraits of my favourite dinosaur, the second one by John Gurche.

Lego Creator Prehistoric Hunters(6914-1) and Lego Tyrannosaurus Rex(6720-1).

And now we come to my Carnegie Collection. First up are Oviraptor, Beipeiosaurus, Dilong, Caudipteryx, and Microraptor.

And here are Spinosaurus, Amargasaurus, and Tylosaurus.

This is only a fraction of my collection. I've got a whole bin full of JP and Chap Mei dinosaurs in storage. Also a nice Papo collection, but I'm going to wait until my next order before I photograph them.

Great little collection! I still need to get the Carnegie Oviraptor myself. Love that Triceratops meat chart mug.

Libraraptor

I love that Triceratops - meat mug!

Nice posters and mugs Suspsy!  Can't wait to see more of your collection. :)

Nice collection Supsy, You have a lot of figures of Carnegie I like all your figures  ^-^.
[Off Nick and Eddie's reactions to the dinosaurs] Oh yeah "Ooh, aah", that's how it always starts. But then there's running and screaming.

{about the T-Rex) When he sees us with his kid isn't he gonna be like "you"!?

Now it's time for my Papo collection!

Here we have Mommy Rex feeding a freshly caught Pteranodon to her adorable twins. Daddy Rex, however, wants something bigger for dinner.

And here's the dinner selection! Triceratops stands firm at the front with Euoplocephalus and Stegosaurus at his side. Pachycephalosaurus, Styracosaurus, and Pachyrhinosaurus gird themselves for battle. Parasaurolophus, however, just wants to flee. But there is nowhere to flee . . .

. . . given that they all live on the same dresser!

 ;D  Where is the Allosaurus?

suspsy

Mastermind Toys was out of stock of the Allosaurus, sadly. It's a shame, because I planned on him facing off against Stegosaurus. I'm sure they'll restock, but I figure I'll wait and see what Papo has in store for 2013 before I order from them again.

The mother Rex with Pteranodon was amusing :) And where did you get those mugs from? Etsy? :)

Thank you. I got the mugs from a local toy chain here called Mrs. Tiggy Winkles. Indeed, I bought my first five Papo toys from them back in the day. They used to sell a good variety of Carnegie as well.

Nowadays, sadly, the only dinosaurs they sell are Schleich. :(

Well, I finally had time to dig out the rest of my collection from storage. Here is my Jurassic Park collection:

And my Lost World collection:

And finally my assorted JP toys, a couple of Dino Riders, and a Pachycephalosaurus bought at a museum many, many years ago:

More to come!

Nice collection, I would love to see and hear more about that unusual Pachycephalosarus from the last picture.

suspsy

You would ask me that after I'd already put them all away! No matter.

I've posted the pics in the Identification thread as well. Hopefully someone there can identify the line it came from.

^^ It looks like a prototype of a dino rider. They did make a Pachy and the eyes look the same.

Ikessauro

Hey, the eyes don't lie, it is a Tsukuda Pachy right? I checked the other thread and Takama confirmed it. Amazing look, nice details. Thanks for the pics, they are very good.

IHogaRok

I really like the T-Rex couple. I just bought the green walking T-Rex on eBay. I can't wait to get it.

suspsy

And now we come to my Chap Mei collection, starting with the small ones:

Then the medium size ones:

And finally the big ones, which feature sounds & LEDs (except for the Elasmosaurus and green Spinosaurus).

Chap Mei makes Papo look 100% accurate, but their dinosaurs are inexpensive and fun to play with. I'm a teacher by trade and many of my students have had a ball with these toys. Unfortunately, I have had to get out the super glue a number of times now.

I have the large red and black spinosaurus (makes godzilla noises) and a large blue tyrannosaurus (also makes godzilla noises)

I bought them years ago because I thought they looked "cool" but I'm not so keen on them anymore.
