What rules do you use for the game. Any pictures of the game in progress?

This is the only Antediluvian figure I have so far, but I definitely want the rest.

I didn't really take pictures during the game, except at a climactic point where the player characters were fighting giant axolotls over a series of geothermal springs. I'll dig those pictures up though.

The adventure is called "The Fire Pearls of Aya-Ghan," and was written as system neutral by my friend Alex. It takes place in his Burroughs-inspired setting of Azor, a geographically isolated region with a Bronze Age civilization, giant apes, snake men and more.

Adventure available here: https://reverse-ettin-games.itch.io/the-fire-pearls-of-aya-ghan

Additionally here is Alex's website with his own small range of miniatures: https://forgeofice.com/

I ran it with the Open Basic RPG, a stripped down percentile system.
"The most popular exhibits in any natural history museum are, without doubt, the dinosaurs. These creatures' popularity grows each year, partly because of the recent resurgence of dinosaur movies, but also because a skeleton of a full-sized Tyrannosaurus rex still has the ability, even 65 million years after its death, to chill us to the bone." - Ray Harryhausen

I've seen some of the Forge Of Ice miniatures on a UK site that distributes, or used to distribute them over here.
Do you know Steve Saleh's Lucid Eye miniatures? They do a nice pulp/prehistoric range:

Fenris Games is Forge of Ice's UK distributor if I remember right. And I love Lucid Eye's figures, I just haven't painted nearly enough of the ones I have. In fact, from where I'm sitting I can see a dozen Lucid Eye Cro-Magnons waiting for me to turn my attention to them (and for there to be a warm and dry enough day to put a primer coat on them).

Ooh, that looks nice! The dark around the eyes lends it an air of menace.
In the kingdom of the blind, better take public transit. Well, in the kingdom of the sighted, too, really--almost everyone is a terrible driver.

avatar_Ludodactylus @Ludodactylus avatar_Justin_ @Justin_ At some point I plan on doing reviews of the Antediluvian dinosaurs. I've been busy the past few weeks, so I haven't done any reviews. I have most of the HLBS/DeeZee dinosaurs and sea creatures, the DeeZee prehistoric mammals, and all of Ral Partha's creatures except the Dicraeosaurus. I also have several Reaper, Copplestone Castings, and Atcheson Creations critters to review, as well as who knows what other creatures of other brands I have hiding here.

I've been collecting miniatures for years (for rpg's) but the dinosaur collection really started from playing Saurian Safari. "Dinosaurs" kind of became my side collection, of sorts.

T @Torvosaurus I'm a little jealous - I didn't snap up the Copplestone Casting or Acheson Creations miniatures when they were available (although Miniature Building Authority seems to have bought the rights to produce some of the Acheson sculpts).

I paint miniatures for RPGs and wargaming (with "Tusk" and "Paleo Diet" linking my wargaming to my paleo interests) and consider miniatures and RPGs my primary hobbies; collecting dinosaur toys for me really came about because of the pandemic.

I collect early Citadel, Ral Partha and Grenadier fantasy miniatures from what I call the pre-hammer era. I'm learning to sculpt and am always on the lookout for contemporary companies producing this classic look. It was actually from trying to sculpt dinosaurs a few years ago that my interest in fantasy minis was re-ignited, as most miniature sculpting tutorials online were for 28mm figures. I'd like to sculpt dinosaurs again but at a very small scale, to cast in metal.

Ral Partha makes up a major portion of my minis, with Reaper a distant 2nd. Most of my dragons are Grenadier. If you're looking for Ral Partha, Ral Partha Legacy is producing many of the old models if you're not looking for originals, and Mirliton (in Italy) is producing a portion of Grenadier's models.

I have no talent at sculpting. I'd love to be able to sculpt my own dinosaurs.
