Space Issues in Dinosaur Collecting

So, I have run into a major issue in my collection. Ever since my massive Christmas haul of the 48 PNSO minis, they have taken up every available gap for a larger figure. Many figures currently reside on my bed due to this.

The issue gets worse. I can easily install more of my clear shelves, but the Papo Therizinosaurus has a major issue: It is too heavy for the screws. The shelves bend and break under its weight.

Finally, and what was supposed to be my last hope, the old white shelves. Not only do they look worse for wear after all these years, but I don't have nearly enough figures to fill it up, making it look bad when there are one or two figures just sprawled on it.

And now, let's get to the question at hand. Where do I put all these figures? I desperately need to make space, but I don't want to put anything in storage or sell the figures, as most were gifts.
Any ideas, shelves to buy online, or ways to make more space between figures are all appreciated.

Failing all else, something to consider is to rotate your display regularly - say once a month. That isn't quite putting stuff in storage as things would be on show regularly. It has the advantage that you will have to handle - and dust! - your collection frequently too, so you become really familiar with what you have and don't forget items a couple of months after purchase. Some members make an arrangement like this work well.

However, others might come up with better display options!

You may consider using risers, to give some figures a little altitude. That gives you space underneath them for the tails of other figures, or even whole figures. This is one way to add space to a shelf reaching capacity. I recommend the clear acrylic version, as they tend to disappear into whatever decor your display features, and they go with most any material or color.

You can get two sets (6pcs) the above pictured risers on Amazon for $20, and you can get smaller ones, in different styles, colors and shapes, for less. Just search "display risers" on Amazon, or eBay.

Consider saving space and at the same time using previously unused space by going up, up, up :
