This Triceratops might be the best trike on the market, aesthetic wise. If I wasn't a 1/18 collector I'd snap this guy up immediately.

What a stunner. The blue one in particular is a standout. How pretty!

SRF

This Triceratops could well be my first HLG figure. To me this is the first time I clearly prefer a HLG figure over a PNSO one. And while I do have multiple Triceratopses from different brands, I don't mind adding this one to the herd.
But today, I'm just being father

I use it as a Titanoceratops, which brings it closer to the desired scale.

I understand this, I felt the same way about the mamenchi, I think were finally getting to a point to where its not a matter of what figure is executed better and is now just a matter of what figures pose and paint you like better (in regards to pnso vs HLG)

Blade-of-the-Moon

Maybe it was the sheer size of the Penta that was confusing me last night. I had thought HLG only had smaller ceratopsians up until the Triceratops.

David Krentz remarked on FB just how much it resembles his newest Trike sculpture and I do agree. Great minds and the like. If your gonna take inspiration it might as well be from the master.

DefinitelyNOTDilo

Originally I thought I was gonna get the blue one as the green one was just a bit too green for me, but seeing how yellow it is in person I may just have to get the green variant!

For me all of their sauropods beginning with the Apatosaurus are just great. The most important thing is the sculpt of a figure in my opinion. In cases I like the sculpt but do not like the paint design, I am getting this repainted by Dinosaur Models Artworks.

What did you not like about the Dicraeosaurus?

Choosing between these two is proving to be incredibly challenging. Both turned out to be stunning in hand.

Blade-of-the-Moon

I ordered the grey one, I think it's still my favorite as the scale details seem a bit more apparent in it?

Same here, green/yellow scheme reminds me of PNSOs Machairoceratops. Yet, I think it is one of those releases that deserve getting a pair of. Gotta save for 11:11.

Turkeysaurus

Paint job (not color selection) & fine details seems anything beyond HLG has done so far. These are the first Haolonggood dinosaurs i can say truely on par with late PNSO quality.

Also it's impossible to pick a favorite one. After seeing promo shots i was favoring green one but now i can't decide at all.

I'd like to see how grey one would look next to PNSO torosaurus in terms of color.

FYI My Online Toy Store on AliExpress is doing quite good sale right now.
managed to get Camarasaurus for $47

Just watched this and I was not expecting the level of scale detail and variation in the sculpt. The blue-gray one is such a delight to look at, especially in its face...

This and the S. ungulatus I feel stand on par with PNSO, which is great. Almost like these are HLG's "landmark" or "flagship" models of these species.

I have high hopes for species that HLG makes next, especially ones I'm still on the look-out for.

Well done V @vampiredesign and team!

Best Triceratops ever. At first I was like, I'm good with Safari's, but now...

It's gorgeous! Can't wait to get one in like...five years (jk)

Also having a hard time deciding which variant is best.

Now I am hoping that they will use this level of paint application for their next sauropod. Just imagine a large 1:35 scale Brachiosaurus or Argentinosaurus with such an amazingly nice paint design.

HLG continues to churn out amazing new releases while I'm still running to catch up. Picked up a few of their recent figures during the last Aliexpress sale, including the Amarga, Camara, Gastonia, Saichania, and, since I loved the other variant so much, the green Maiasaura.

Spoiler

Definitely still prefer the purple variant, but love the little family unit you can make with these four.

The Gastonia is a delight. Feels like I'm microdosing the amazing Sideshow statue by owning this little guy, so that's fun.

Spoiler

Saichania is a nice little figure but I think the Euoplocephalus still holds the crown for favorite Ankylosaur from HLG.

Now for the big newcomers

Spoiler

I, like many others, was disappointed to see that this Amargasaurus did not have the updated coverings but it's such a charming figure of my favorite Sauropod that I found I could look past it. It's another offering that was hard to choose which color scheme I preferred but like with red on Carnotaurus, there's just something about Amargasaurus that says Green to me.

With PNSO's Lucio

And Carnegie's take

And the old Battat. Amargasaurus is one of those animals that's gotten a lot of love over the years but no one's managed to get it completely right just yet. Certainly wouldn't turn my nose up at another PNSO offering to stand against this HLG figure.

Speaking of HLG, gotta share some sauropod comparisons, starting with their massive Alamosaurus. Really shows just how small Amargasaurus was in comparison to the true titans.

Then, the face that launched a thousand ships, the Apatosaurus.

Big Blue, the Mamenchisaurus

And the Ampelosaurus. Amazing to see how far HLG has come in the course of a year.

But in, what? Three years? Forget about it.

And finally, the big guy of the haul, the Camarasaurus, ordered right before PNSO revealed theirs. :P

Spoiler

Still loving HLG's offering though.

Starting to get a very nice Morrison Formation group on my shelves!

All I can say though is bring on the Brachiosaurus and Argentinosaurus!

Now, onto that beautiful trike!
