Safari Ltd - New for 2025

I unfortunately was not familiar with her. So I searched the name. One of the prior owners of them. That's sad to see, and my condolences to her family and friends, and to anyone else impacted by her loss.

She was the former CEO and daughter of the founder Bernard Rubel (namesake of Bernie the Gator). Her son Alexandre now runs the company with his wife Christina.

I was shocked to see it. I worked directly with her for a bit for the prehistoric sharks and prehistoric crocs toobs. Plus some other things. Very sad to hear it

Megalosaurus is available!

Ordered one, as to my eyes this seems to be the very best of Safari's recent introductions. I'm quite curious to see if it looks as amazing in detail and paint application as it appears on the promotional images. Although I also have the PNSO Megalosaurus, this Safari seemed too good to pass up. I'll post a comparison picture on the new acquisitions page when mine comes in from Dejankins.
Also, it doesn't seem to me that this is a Doug Watson figure (though I could be wrong, for sure) - does anyone know who is the paleoartist that sculpted this piece?

Early days, but I am quite amazed at the stability of the Megalosaurus. I keep double checking it to assure myself the tail is not touching the ground.

I'm very excited to see what Safari will produce for 2025!  Their lineups have constantly been interesting!  I'm most excited for the new prehistoric toobs though!  I'm hoping for satisfying toob versions of Velociraptor, Deinonychus, Microraptor and Rhamphorhynchus!

I'll be happy if even 3 or 4 figures total are at a scale compatible with my other figures. I'm expecting most of them not to be.

This is why dromaeosaurids and pterosaurs would make great toob figures, there are many from each group that would scale well with larger figures!  And I think these are more likely classes to be made than random big dinosaurs.

Has there actually been confirmation that Safari will release any prehistoric Toobs this year, or is it just a rumour?

For anyone who is genuinely concerned about Safari, all I can say is the best thing you can do is to continue to support Safari.

I'm not saying everyone needs to buy every toy, but I notice that none of the last round of Safari prehistoric releases have been reviewed on the DTB.

Obviously the company isn't going to live or die by the Dino Toy Blog reviews, but in the past it was always nice to see the latest items reviewed.

But that's maybe a different topic.

They have been reserved and are on our to do list. That said, the reviewers might consider letting someone else review one or two, depending on how much progress they've already made.

I have completed a review of the Saltasaurus; it's just waiting in the queue. In fact, I'll bump it up just for S @Shane.

Haven't started on the Nanuqsaurus yet, but it will get done.
