Quote from: Gwangi on August 11, 2025, 04:49:41 PMOMG, those colors...again.  ::) Great looking figure though, of course. Love the little twisty tail tip.

It's quickly become all but impossible to defend at this point. I find it particularly egregious here seeing as the colors and patterning are almost identical to their Apatosaurus, an animal already superficially similar enough to warrant lengthy discussions about them being one in the same!

It has become all but impossible to build a collection of HLG figures without having the same paintjob repeated several times. For completists or those who focus on HLG...I feel bad for you. You would think HLG would take this into consideration.

I remember when PNSO paintjobs felt repetitive and HLG was a breath of fresh air. It is frequently the other way around at this point.
I always thought the hate pnsopaint jobs got where to much. Yeah a lot of brown, (and im not truing to start the argument od certain pigments on extant animals again) but I'd rather a lot of different browns than a bunch of giant blue dinosaurs

with what I said above however I will say this looks more gray than anything which is nice, kind of reminds me of the PNSO Alamo, color aside this is an amazing sculpt hlg keeps getting better and I see more and more of there offerings ending up in my collection. I currently have 3, iguanodon could've been 4 but after the convos here I've decided to go for the pnso, I do have the Euhelopus on the way and I can see this new pronto sand that diplo joining the bunch.

Safari went through this phase too, a while back. Mind you, that didn't bother me at the time, or even now. I don't know if it was using up a paint inventory or foe brand recognition, or some other reason.

I guess in life, we all got to take our 'lumps', sooner or later.

Honestly I am just happy about this Brontosaurus. Together with the already leaked Diplodocus my Morrison sauropod lineup will be close to completion.

I am not worried at all about the paint designs, as I got my Apatosaurus beautifully repainted by Dinosaur Models Artworks.

It is simply amazing that Haolonggood has produced a near complete lineup of top quality Morrison sauropod models in 1:35 scale in just little over 2 years. Just think about it.

I wonder if Haolonggood has already plans for Galeamopus, Kaatedocus, Haplocanthosaurus, Supersaurus and Barosaurus.

It would not be too much of a surprise if some of the latter species are in the making.

Green, teal, LIGHT blue, DARK brown, black, cream, red, pink, freaking purple! Anything but the same dark blue and orange brown again!

It's called a theme, guys. It's not a lack of coloration ideas. Imagine Marx collectors 70 years ago freaking out: "Argh! Not the same gray, brown, and seafoam green again!"

Not me checking this thread every time it suddenly adds new pages hoping for Dippys release, but Im not going to complain this time, damm it looks gorgeous! and I've been looking for a Bronto so many years! oh if HLG makes Supersaurus and Barosaurus I could retire peacefully, or till Apato ajax. I would also love Haplo, kaate and galea so the Morrison sauropods would be almost complete but I doubt they are going with those, much less Ardetosaurus, but if I could choose one, lets be Haplo.

I have been told Eofauna Diplodocus can be very good Galeamopus doppelganger.

I don't see Haolonggood doing it.

Turkeysaurus

If these animals live in same environment they might have similar colors.

Also It seems neck color is transitioning from grey to brown.

Brontosaurus is bully, absolutely bully. *-*

The colour schemes, however, are just bull.  :(
