I would love a Nigersaurus (although the Safari is very good, but we need one more updated) and a definitely, a Saltasaurus. But first, a Diplodocus, please!
And yes, Patagotitan, too. I wanted that figure since the description of the species. And TURIASAURUS, of course! It is very different from other sauropods, and a very interesting species (the largest in Europe) and the remains are very well described, more after the discovery of his cousin Losillasaurus.

I agree that a Diplodocine would be really good, either Diplodocus, Barosaurus or Supersaurus. Or even Kaatedocus or Galeamopus.

Then some earlier sauropods before the Neosauropoda would be nice as well. For example, Shunosaurus, Cetiosaurus or Omeisaurus.

Quote from: Flaffy on January 20, 2025, 06:13:32 PMEven though I love titanosaurs, I agree that we could use a break. Best not oversaturate the market this early.

I reckon it's time to return to the small-medium sized sauropodomorphs though! Plenty of bizarre and unique taxa to work with.

We need a Plateosaurus!

Sim

Yes, Plateosaurus is the prehistoric animal most overdue a good figure!

And my Concavenator has arrived!  ^-^  I chose the "Spanish flag" version, and yes, it is more yellow than green and the red is very very bright.
But it looks much much better in hand than in pictures. Specially the head, which is very good. The teeth are so microscopic that you can't even appreciate if it's lippless but yes, they are carefully painted.
The legs are super nicely sculpted, if you look at their best other two little theropods, the majungasaurus and the megaraptor, legs and feet are different, and that is something I really like from Haolonggood. There is a lot of detail in such tiny legs of the Conca.

A comparison with the other 2 jewels. I think that probably the conca would benefit from other coloration with smaller stripes to bring more detail to the sculpt and be less distracting. The repainted concas look like small pieces of art.

And now in comparison with the best figures I have. The Favorite was my "favourite" because it was painted just like "Pepito", the figure of the museum of Cuenca and it had the quills on the arms. But head is a bit large and quite shrink-wrapped. The excellent Carnegie has a nice different veil form and paint scheme is very good. Both are larger and so out of scale, however. Yeah, the HLG is the best, no doubt. But I will keep all of them, they are little gems.

Turkeysaurus

I'm most curious about next large titanosaur and what color variants.

Flaffy

Quote from: Sim on January 20, 2025, 06:18:27 PMI too would like a break from the titanosaurians.  I don't get making them over and over again when they all look the same.  Meanwhile, Barosaurus really needs a good figure, and I'm surprised there isn't a good figure of Nigersaurus still.

I hope HLG will finally be the company that gives us a Nigersaurus with updated proportions. Been wishing for years for one.

This, it's been overlooked fir too long.

I hope we get Diplodocus, that one is not overlooked but it's the last famous Sauropod missing from HLG.

Did orange one had a blue tail? Never noticed that. Green one has orange tail i guess.. What about blue's tail?

I swear some of these people taking photos have worst eye for photography. We had a thosand photo of orange variant but if i'm not wrong somehow they have missed the tail?

Carnoking

Well that solves all of nothing!

Actually there is now quite a bunch of pictures that show Brachiosaurus together with some of the earlier Haolonggood sauropods. So you could use Photoshop and adjust brightness or saturation in such a way that the other figures look like you see them in your light conditions. This would give you an approximate impression how the Brachiosaurus would look like.

Certainly a more constructive approach than this comment with exclamation mark and highlighted in bold. If this is your answer to people that try their best to scramble together any picture they get hold of in order to help others in their decision making then what can I say.

My comment was intended to be light hearted. I've been looking back and forth between the batches up pictures that have been cropping up today and even when they're finally put side by side, I still can't pick a favorite! I think they both look great! I guess that ultimately means no matter which one I end up picking, I'll be quite pleased (though the other will always be the brach that got away)

This has to be the worst case of "wtf this thing actually looks like" I 've ever seen. Every single picture looks completely different from the previous one.

I ve been looking through previous pictures of the orange Brachio, turns out it had that blue tail from the start and we didn't notice it at all  :o

Why blue though?! That's like the worst color transition you could think of.

Turkeysaurus

Blue has orange head & neck, orange has blue tail tip.

I'm glad i'm not the only one just noticed and suprised by it LoL.

It had it from the start but then somehow most photos has not show off the tail.

Blade-of-the-Moon

IDK I actually like blue and orange together.

Thanks for sharing these photos! With all the Brachiosaurus talk this little guy seems to have been overlooked  ;D

I particularly like what you said about the teeth and the detail on the legs. After watching DinosDragons' review, I drew similar conclusions, and can't help but think about the level of refinement they're putting into each new product - feels like HLG are saving some of the more iconic species for when they feel "ready" to release them, such as species like Iguanodon, Kentrosaurus, or even smaller species.

I like how they're going "small" and developing capabilities for sculpting finer details, but at the same time going "big" by throwing out sauropod after sauropod.

Having several Concavs already, I had initially dismissed this release as unneeded and unwanted, but this :Spanish flag" one has really caught my attention. I may just spring for it; after all, it sure won't take up much shelf space.

Great photos, lots of details to appreciate.

This was then a misunderstanding, sorry. It sounded like these pictures do not help but apparently this was not what you wanted to say.

I think that the overall look of these figures really changes so much with the light conditions.

I noticed that when I compare how they look on a clear winter day, a dark cloudy autumn day, or a humid day in summer.
