For many years I eyeballed scale for my figures or went with other people's estimates. Now that I've calculated it in my collection posts some surprises are coming out! The next batch of figures were ones I thought were smaller than 1:35..

Scientific name: Elasmosaurus platyurus
Company: Safari
Scale: 1:35
From: Kansas

So I was surprised this Safari Elasmosaurus is actually 1:35 scale. It's an amazing figure, the head in particular is very well done. I was critical of this figure early on, but I love it now! After finding out it's 1:35 I have even more lack of desire for another Elasmosaurus figure. I hope if someone makes another elasmosaurid figure, it's something that is currently lacking an adequate figure, such as Futabasaurus or Styxosaurus.

Scientific name: Dakosaurus andiniensis
Company: Safari
Scale: 1:47
From: Argentina

I love this one's sculpt but it has a smaller scale than what I expected. I might need to look into bigger Dakosaurus figures..

Scientific name: Paranothosaurus giganteus
Company: Safari
Scale: 1:63
From: Germany, Switzerland

This figure is labelled Nothosaurus.  As Cajus Diedrich has put forward, the difference between the species giganteus and true Nothosaurus species is so much that the usually synonymised Paranothosaurus genus makes sense to use for this species.
I was surprised how small this figure's scale is.  We're really overdue a larger figure of Nothosaurus or Paranothosaurus that is actually good!

Scientific name: Titanis walleri
Company: Eikoh
Scale: 1:32
From: Florida, Texas, California

I'm pleasantly surprised by this one's scale! It's a nice figure too!

Scientific name: Mantellisaurus atherfieldensis
Company: CollectA
Scale: 1:44
From: Belgium, England, Spain, Germany

If CollectA hadn't made this species I don't think anyone else would have. It has a pleasing colouration!

Scientific name: Fukuiraptor kitadaniensis
Company: Favorite
Scale: 1:42
From: Japan

Even though this figure is smaller than what I'd prefer, I like its sculpt so much that I had to have it! It's actually standing on its own in the photo!

Scientific name: Mamenchisaurus youngi
Company: Mojo
Scale: 1:40
From: China

With this one it was exactly the scale I had guessed it was by eyeballing it. Its appearance shows it is a different species to all other Mamenchisaurus figures, specifically being the species youngi. As there isn't a larger figure of this interesting species, I think I'll keep this figure when I undertake the great 1:35 sauropod replacement of smaller figures.

Scientific name: Huayangosaurus taibaii
Company: Kaiyodo
Scale: 1:52
From: China

I had the PNSO version of this species previously, but this one by Kaiyodo has a nicer sculpt. Even though I prefer the larger size of PNSO's, I think I'll keep this Kaiyodo version as I like it more than the PNSO. I would have gotten the Haolonggood Huayangosaurus but it lacks a tail club which is a dealbreaker for me.

Scientific name: Desmatosuchus spurensis
Company: Safari
Scale: 1:59
From: Texas

I'm somewhat surprised there isn't a better figure of Desmatosuchus. I don't consider the Schleich version better.

Scientific name: Dolichorhynchops osborni
Company: Safari
Scale: 1:37
From: Kansas

I dislike spelling this one's genus as I always worry I'm spelling it wrong.
