Is the diplodocus referring to the soon to be released figure?

Monkeysaurus

I would love to do a review, however I'm not as knowledgeable with regard to the science as most other people here. I suppose I could do some more research. I have both the green and "brown" brachiosauruses so that might be something I could do

Most of us regular reviewers are not experts or professionals, just amateur enthusiasts with the same access to information that any one of us has. Wikipedia, scientific papers, books, and this forum, and blogs, YouTube channels, and websites run by actual experts are what I use. Separating good sources from the bad ones is probably the hardest part. Like, I wouldn't trust those Google generated A.I. answers, or websites like Reptile Evolution. But at the end of the day it's a toy review and you can focus on whatever attributes you enjoy writing about the most. A general overview of accuracy is appreciated but dive as deep as you feel comfortable is my advice. Part of the fun in writing reviews, for me, is doing research on the review subject and learning as I go along.

Chat GPT is the absolute worst with dinosaur stuff. It gets weird things insanely wrong. Try asking it which dinosaurs lived amongst certain peers - it's told me that stegosaurus lived with T-Rex. As far as "Reptile evolution" is concerned I'm fairly wary of any source using the term reptile on account of the fact that it's a completely useless word other than as a general descriptor of certain physical features. It doesn't really map on to reality

I use terms like Archosaur and Squamate when discussing animals commonly defined as "reptiles" in common language. "Fish" is equally worthless. At least "Mammal" is a useful classification - it lines up perfectly with objective reality and our common sense. I'm not as knowledgeable as many other members here but I know enough to understand what to watch out for.

Taking the time to research the animal you're reviewing is a great way to become a bit more knowledgable. If you choose to do the  Brachiosaurus think of what you could learn about it that you don't already know, like the front to back leg ratios, for example. There's Google Scholar and Wikipedia to start off with. Just don't use Reptile Evolution dot com.

Sounds like you're capable of writing a review to me.  ::D

Alright, let's see what you've got.

Remember to take photos of the toy from different angles. And include comparison shots with other toys.

I took the Diplodocus off this list because it hasn't even been officially revealed yet.

I have an outline of a review written up. Would anyone mind taking a look at what I've got so far?

Maybe I will take the Mamenchisaurus...but I have to say, that I won't be able to finish it before mid/end-September.
If that is all right I could write a review.

Is the Iguanodon already taken?

I plan to do the Iguanodon, but you can definitely do the Mamenchisaurus. Don't worry about when you get to it, there is no deadline.  ^-^

Okay, if the Iguanodon is reserved than it's reserved  8)

Than I will go with the Mamenchisaurus and with the Apatosaurus if that is okay for you.

I will try to finish them in late September / early October.

Great! Looking forward to the reviews. I've been hoping someone would step up to review those big sauropods.
