Congrats mr. Klatt, nice that your work is represented in a book form.
Speaking of your sculptures, any news about new kits? I have your Eryops and it is one of my favorite resins, a wonderfull model and pleasure to paint.
It seems that your models are getting harder to obtain in Europe.

I wish we could see the ornithopods on the first page.

Thank you Broken Mackerel. I'm the only sculptor in this book. I hope that in the next there will be others. I have not created anything new for more than a year. A lot of other work, although quietly molding. Soon a new sculpture will be released. In general, my models are presented here:

Your models are great Klatt. Congrats for being showcased in the book.

But the fact you cast them in resin makes it hard for me to afford them (3rd wolrd). If you ever decide to cast in a cheaper material I'll get your 3 permian models.

But i like to see your new model(s) too :)

I love this...I love how varied the reconstructions of this animal have been. This one looks neither like the recent Collecta or the Safari ltd versions. I dont even know what extant animal this reminds me of... maybe a hippo. Except the head looks very canine at certain angles. Such a strange animal.

This is one of my favorite depictions of Andrewsarchus. I was thrilled to add this figure to my collection last year. And if I'm not mistaken, hippos and whales are Andy's closest living relatives, so depicting it as hairless is just as realistic as the alternative.

Thanks friends! I have long struggled with the implementation of this project. I was helped by knowledgeable people, in particular, specialists in Mesonychia. My Andrewsarchus mongoliensis does not look like previous renovations. This was a big risk, but it, in my opinion, is closer to the real. The only thing: I made the pelvic bones a bit broad, But he was also very big.

Friends, need help. Here I mold the belly with a scutozaur. I proceed purely from the assumption that in early amniotes it could be covered with large abdominal scales, as it was preserved in crocodiles. However, probably the scales could be like modern lizards, just small all over the belly, and maybe even without scales (but I still reject this option). If it looks OK, then I'll leave it. If not, I will redo it.

Wonderful to see new work in progress! Scales look great to me.
