The forum went offline for a prolonged period today, apologies for the inconvenience. I've been scurrying around trying to work out what went wrong. Our hosts suspended us for some apparent spam activity in the shoutbox at the bottom of the page. I've got the forum back up and running (it may not be fully functional), and I've deleted the shoutbox, so hopefully we are back up for good...

The blog is still offline but I'm trying to get it back up as soon as possible too...

Phew.

Well, the forum and blog are both up and running again now. The only thing that's missing is many of our avatars. Oh well, time to pick new ones I suppose...

Is the shoutbox gone indefinitely? I'm not particularly bothered either way, just wondering...

I missed the downtime completely, I slept through the whole thing XD

Yep, the shoutbox is gone forever. I don't think it is a big loss, but I quite liked it all the same.

it is weird the shoutbox was the reason for the downtime when people hardly post anything there/use it. glad to see y'all again. :)

Mine was missing, so I had to find something new. Oh well, this one is nice too !!!

I don't know why some avatars went missing, while others did not. Maybe it depended on the format (png, jpg, gif). Who knows. At least we didn't lose any other content - a few missing avatars isn't so bad.
