On the topic of extortionate shipping, this Favorite Collection mini Metal Brachiosaurus costs $36 to ship. Only $48 to BIN.

Metal Model Dinosaur Brachiosaurus Japan New

DinoToyForum

There are a few old schleichs on Ebay Germany at the moment at good BIN prices - they ship worldwide. Inaccurate, but collectable.  ;)

Did you know that there is a 1:20 version of the Papo Tyrannosaurus?
This must be the reason for the high price and the immense shipping costs ;D!

I really like that komodo!
My living room smells like old plastic dinosaur toys... Better than air freshener!

You gotta be kidding me. These figures are not that rare!  >:(

They are to me--I have yet to get 4 out of 6 of them (I have the Szechuan and Chuanji).  But I wouldn't pay that much for them--I'm pretty sure that this particular seller trolls the Yahoo Japan auctions and then resells at hugely increased prices.

....... and he once again doesn't even bother to take his own photos.
C:-) He should send me a figure of my choice for free (for constantly using my photos without asking).

I stopped watching this seller's offers - he's become the second toyofspark :P.

He does think highly of his prices, doesn't he?

It's strange that some of his prices are exorbitant (like this offer) and (admittedly few) others seem quite reasonable. The Kabaya "Seismosaurus" for $40 doesn't seem too bad. Some of us here bought the Colorata museum figure Quetzalcoatlus for, well, at least not for that much. Using Helge's photos without permission is a "no go", of course. >:(

Oh Lord, won't you buy me a T-rex by Krentz? My friends all have Sideshow, I must make amends.

Whats the scale of the originals anyway?

Ok, those of you who have big yards and deep pockets, here you go >:D ^-^

There's also this from the same seller (92% positive feedback doesn't sound so good though, by the way):

Enormous Bone Dinosaur sculpture home garden fossil statue (The Digital Angel)

The description is, well, it just is ;D.
"Tell your neighbors that you "found this while in Africa's Great Rift Valley!" Though we haven't quite determined just which species of dinosaur it is, we do know that this ultimate garden artifact is over 3½ feet of quality designer resin and able to rival those unearthed by any British paleontologist. Plant our exclusive faux dinosaur bone in the garden or near Nanna's doghouse as a fun discovery for friends and family alike!""

I recently bought the Colorata Quetzalcoatlus for $40 myself. It was the one Boki posted a little while back. It isn't new, is missing its base and rod, and has a few minor rubs, but I figured it wasn't too bad a price for something I'm not likely to find again so easily.

But I agree about using Helge's pictures, of course.  >:(

I thought this was a different one--a larger, special edition. Or at least, that there is one out there (whether or not this is it...)

Seijun

The one that clawmark is selling is a smaller version.

Yes, that's right.  :) I already have the Cretaceous box set which includes that smaller Quetz.
