It is 12420Y on one Japanese site (about $130 or so) before any postage or anything; so while the auction is high-priced, that figure will be very expensive.

It's because it is one of those Museum Exclusive figures. Apparently it is also retired now.

It is valuable to a certain extent. But MHK has a reputation for artificially inflating the prices of the toys he sells.
