WWD Liopleurodon: http://www.ebay.com/itm/282335042721

I'm astounded no one would pay $40 for this. I paid a fair bit more for mine years ago. If I didn't have one a'ready...

Yeah, honestly I thought a $33 opening bid was pretty damn reasonable. Maybe it's just a lean time for people? I guess lots of us have dropped $100 or more on new Safaris, for example. It had 8 watchers and 0 bids. Next time it's going on Buy It Now.

Two dinos that cropped up recently that, to my newbie untrained eye, might be of some interest. A "Supersaurus 18" Big Figure HAPPINET Dinosaur Monster Kaiju." BIN of $65.00. And a "Retired TOYWAY British Natural History MUSEUM Diplodocus Dinosaur PVC Figure." BIN of $39.99. Can anyone more knowledgeable comment on these? I like them but have no idea whether the price is good or not, or what the community thinks of them generally (though I may buy them anyway, since they look nice to me.)

The price of Toyway is totally wrong (and it's not retired..):

http://www.everythingdinosaur.com/dinosaur-collection-diplodocus-and-kentrosaurus.html

To be honest, it isn't a great figure to me:
http://dinotoyblog.com/2015/01/18/diplodocus-natural-history-museum-by-toyway/

The head is so and so to my eyes...

Silvanusaurus

Yeah, that Diplodocus is pretty common in the UK, and not retired, so I'm not sure what the seller is on about. It also normally comes with the little Kentrosaurus. In all honesty it isn't a great figure when you see it in person. Those Toyway Natural History Museum toys aren't very good generally, especially when weighed against their Invicta predecessors.

BlueKrono

That Supersaurus has a cool Rebbachisaurus look to it. But it's probably moot, as it looks like it's gone already. As a general rule Japanese sellers (especially kaiju dealers) tend to have high prices. But sometimes people bite anyway.

About Happinet Supersaurus, I don't know if the price is ok or not but there's a video review (..in portuguese..) by the DTF member Ikessauro:

The Diplodocus/Kentrosaurus set is available from Everything Dinosaur for less than half what that eBay seller is asking:

http://www.everythingdinosaur.com/dinosaur-collection-diplodocus-and-kentrosaurus.html

I think with patience you can probably find the Supersaurus for less than $65, as well.

Interesting Pteranodon on ebay by a Spanish artist. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Pteranodon-by-Salvat-Editores-2001-rubber-non-dinosaur-from-Spain-no-Dinosaurio-/282364602673?hash=item41be3de931:g:izcAAOSwfVpYp4OS Never heard of him, but this looks cool to me. Open to bidding with a BIN price of $14.99.

Flaffy

It's the Bullyland Pteranodon.

It's the Bullyland Pteranodon.

Nope, it's a Salvat Pteranodon. A cheaply made copy of the Bullyland one.

BlueKrono

Ikessauro's right. I've bought all my Salvats from Snertus.

The inaccessible is the toyway iguanodon of the Natural History Museum. I've been looking for it for months and I do not find it even on eBay. On the other hand I had it until not long ago www.everythingdinosaur.co.uk but now it is definitely exhausted.

I do not know what that figure will look like but it sells very well, and unfortunately it's the only Toyway figure in the Natural History Museum I'm missing. As I said the diplodocus still sell it on www.everythingdinosaur.co.uk I think that with the kentrosaurus I already bought it, but every time Toyway figures are harder to find than the WWD figures except for the ornithocheirus For a collector and inaccessible and unaffordable if it is at exhorbitant prices does not figure on ebay.

Both figures on Amazon are not found.

Certainly these figures were versions or rather plagiaries of companies like Safari, Bullyland or Schleich to give a few examples. I had a tyrannosaurus rex (it came in a series of issues of Salvat) and I can say that the material is quite bad and brittle. I could have made that collection, but it did not convince me anything, because they were just copies of dinosaurs and prehistoric animals and over bad copies. From my point of view I keep the original to the copies of Salvat with all my respects to the members of the forum.

Unfortunately in Spain do not make good figures of prehistoric animals and are precisely innovative similar thing to the Italian company of Geoworld.

Isn't there a different thread for eBay Germany?

Yes. But those ship worldwide, so it is not Germany specific.
