X-plus Albertosaurus with a stunning custom paint job. As a fan of this genus I'm tempted myself but I'm a bit pushed for space ATM.

It's only my personal opinion but it seems quite strange to me that people could encourage illegal activities like bootlegging or stealing original ideas from artists around the world.
I never bought a bootleg and I won't in the future.
That's all.

Not sure, but I think what Syndicate Bias was suggesting was that Vitae are Chinese and they've not been pirated. The Chinese don't pirate/bootleg their own. ;)

ITdactyl

@RobinGoodfellow - I don't think talking about bootlegs = encouraging the practice.  Bootlegs will exist, even if we don't talk about them in the forum.  That's not to say I don't agree with you though.

@Bucklander - Transformers figures indicate otherwise.  There are companies here in asia that produce "3rd party" products in the [exact or slightly retooled] image of transformers characters - these are in turn [also] bootlegged by other companies.  Though (in agreement with what  you said), it's easier for a Chinese company to complain to their government about bootlegs, compared to a foreign brand - say, Papo - chasing after the same.

@admin, sorry for taking the thread OoT, but I thought I'd chime in.

Halichoeres

I never thought about it before, but even PNSO hasn't been pirated as far as I know, and there's been plenty of time to do so. As for Transformers figures, I don't collect them so I'm not sure, but aren't they mostly made by Japanese brands, rather than Chinese?

That's a bonny one! Never even heard of this brand. Looks like there are some other interesting lots on eBay, too, like this lanky and rather starved looking Styracosaurus https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F253565926839
Currently undergoing something of a dino-drought as all the releases I'm interested in seem to be scheduled for release in the UK at the same time this summer, and the BOTM I ordered are now at the first stage of being in transit. But, I will try to resist these exotic eBay rarities!

That's one sad looking Styracosaurus o.o Though, it'd probably look really good on a diorama based around drought or famine.

Mini Minmi

I'm guessing you mean the running one from Papo? or is the brown tripod T. rex also rare?

Syndicate Bias

Running one. The tripod is far from rare right now lol

There's even more than that for sale.

Hello Invicta Hunter:

It is to ask you if that tyrantnosaurus rex of Battat that you sell in your store is the famous original of Battat, that is to say the first version of tyrannosaurus Battat. I have bid for him.

I would also like to know how is its state of conservation to be a used figure.

If you can get in touch with me I would appreciate it.

Invicta Hunter

It is the original version 1 figure and it does have a lot of paint wear.
Hope this helps.

mgaguilar

Wow, I really wish Battat retooled the #1 instead of the #3. The original looks brilliant. And they could have fixed the balancing issues easily.

Minmiminime

SidB

@mgaguilar: I completely agree with you. I have the second version, which is simply the #1 with the unsuccessful snowshoes, two of the #3's, as well as the new Battat Terra, a repaint of the #3. The 1/2 version is stockier, definitely more robust. It really breathes "T-Rex." IMO, the best non-feathered Tyrannosaurus Rex ever put out as a commercial production model, even though Greg Wenzel sculpted this in 1994 (!), with the snowshoe version coming out in 1996. Years ahead of their time and still the best.

Shonisaurus

I hope I'm a hundred percent wrong but the bids will go up for this weird Battan tyrannosaurus.  :)
