Jasman Dilophosaurus and Gallimimus- http://www.ebay.com/itm/Amazing-Collection-of-19-VINTAGE-DINOSAURS-Solid-colorful-ready-for-play-/300829663126?pt=US_Action_Figures&hash=item460ad85f96 Shipping is US only though.

Battat T. rex in that lot too!
Read the description- it's not for sale :P

Good thing I wasn't gonna bid on it anyway but that just goes to show you how important it is to read the description (I often don't). I wonder if anyone will bid on it because it is in the picture?

brontodocus

Actually I think that's a little suspicious... If the Battat Tyrannosaurus isn't part of the auction, why is it in the picture, anyways? ??? It's not as if it was impossible to put it away and photograph just the figures that are being sold. Yes, I guess it may attract bidders who are searching for Battat figures. Oh dear. :-\

Oh Lord, won't you buy me a T-rex by Krentz? My friends all have Sideshow, I must make amends.

Seijun

The auction description shows that is was edited yesterday. I suspect that after posting the auction the seller realized what he had (or he got a private offer on the battat and sold it), and then he put in the disclaimer rather than taking time to replace the photos.

I guess the first case is more likely, since there was a Battat T.rex on eBay going up to  250 bucks at the time.

Reminds me of a case, I once saw. The Seller noticed that he had a Marx Potbelly T-Rex in his lot.
Jurassic Park is frightning in the dark
All the dinosaurs are running wild
Someone let T. Rex out of his pen
I'm afraid those things'll harm me
'Cause they sure don't act like Barney
And they think that I'm their dinner, not their friend
Oh no

For 250 bucks :o?

Simon

At $250 I hope it was the mini-Trex!

tyrantqueen

Geez, you're right. $250 is a stupid amount, since these figures are so easily available and everyone has one that they're just dying to get rid of. Care to show one of these people to me?

Lol!
Everything is worth something different to someone else.

But as they say, it takes two to tango. If Tyrantqueen won a battat rex for 250, at least one other person was willing to pay almost the same amount.

Patience is a virtue, my dear.  I copped two of these over the past 3 years on ebay, for about $60 each.  They are not that rare.

However, in your defence I must admit that there have been more than a couple of various dinosaur pieces that I paid a premium for because I was impulsive, or grew tired of waiting to acquire one.  Such is the hobby of collecting.

One thing is certain, however - you WILL enjoy this figure - it IS the best plastic TRex out there, even 15+ years after its release, which saying something.

I would sell mine right now for $150, any takers? (even at $150 its expensive)

Seijun

It depends on the version also. Version 1 and 3 seem to be the most expensive (version 1 in particular).

I would buy it... Yeah, I'm one of those who's tired of waiting... Lol; But unfortunately now I'm out of cash for dinos.

Im not sure which one I own, I will take pics and post them. Anyone interested let me know, I wont sell for less that $150 plus postage from Australia. I also have a used but complete boxed Dino Riders Wart Hog on Australian ebay if anyone's interested, buy it now $55.

Indeed it is and having a keen eye helps too. I think it is Dino-lord who has a pretty good sized Battat collection mostly acquired in eBay lots. The Battats I do have I paid well under the marked value, same for most of my collection. Still, I've only managed to get three Battat toys within the last three years because of my bargain shopping. There are some figures I want and am losing patience for but this isn't the time of year for me to cave in. I can't say that if I didn't have that kind of money I wouldn't do the same but I also really love finding a good deal, I think that is half the fun for me.
