New addition came today,

Love the species, but not so fond of the figure. Far away from CollectA's current standards.

ZoPteryx

Great new acquisitions everyone! :)

Here's what I've pulled in over the past few months. ;D

Ikessauro

Very good haul Zopteryx, I'm anxious to get those primeval predators as well.

deanm

Indeed, a very nice haul!   :)

How is the Extinct Birds book? Would you recommend it?

ZoPteryx

Thank you both. :)

I would highly recommend it!  I should specify though, despite the Kelenken I put in front, it's only about recently extinct birds.  Lots of good info on what's known about the species, how they were discovered, why they went extinct, and it even has a little sense of humor.  The only flaw I can find, which is no fault of its own, is that a few more species appear to have disappeared since its publication. :'(

sauroid

very cool new books Zopteryx.
just acquired these books during the past couple of weeks
vintage paleo book

Nat Geo field guide to N.American birds
"you know you have a lot of prehistoric figures if you have at least twenty items per page of the prehistoric/dinosaur section on ebay." - anon.

@ Zopteryx.  Thanks, I'll have to have a look around for it.

tyrantqueen

Invicta Troodon, which I won for £3.50 in a chinasaur lot. Yes, it was £3.50

However, it doesn't come with the stand. I had to use blu-tack to get it to stand for this photo.

Jetoar

You are a lucky girl  ^-^, congrats
[Off Nick and Eddie's reactions to the dinosaurs] Oh yeah "Ooh, aah", that's how it always starts. But then there's running and screaming.

{about the T-Rex) When he sees us with his kid isn't he gonna be like "you"!?

Amazing find TQ. The kind of thing that makes it hard not to browse eBay.
