They're not that expensive in context. Try collecting Sideshow statues at $200+ a pop. Not cheap :-\

College refund money, ha ha, that's how I afford these. XD

Not necessarily a bad thing (as long as there is an element of reasonableness maintained). It makes me cry a little inside to see the JP3 Animatronic Spinosaurus I so desperately wanted as a kid go for $80 or more on eBay when I remember it only being something like $25 at Walmart back in the day...

I used to sell my textbooks from school to buy video games and toys  :)

What I got recently as Xmas gifts:

This one is now in the identification thread

Finally, I found out that this was issued in 2006 as indicated on the box, but the figures have no dates though.

Merry Christmas everyone!  :)

On Christmas day, I received a lovely surprise from my mum. She had ordered me the Battat Terra collection for Christmas. Signed by Dan LoRusso himself! I don't think I've ever been so excited in my life. It's truly made my Christmas. :) Thank you so much, Dan for signing them! These of course are staying in their boxes!

Can't get much cooler than that. 8)
In the end it was not guns or bombs that defeated the aliens, but that humblest of all God's creatures... the Tyrannosaurus rex.

Beautiful statue.

Here's my Dinos for xmas.

But... what on Earth could this be?

Probably not entirely dinosaurian.

triceratops83

Is that a Hypacrosaurus skeleton? What brand is it?

That Hypacrosaurus skeleton is pretty neat!

Received a Papo Brachiosaurus as a Christmas gift. It's a nice, hefty figure.

I think it's from the Tiny Perfect Dino series, included an egg, skeleton, booklet/poster and a neat display box in the 90's.

Nice score guys!

ignite444

Nice haul guys! :D Me? I never get physical gifts for Christmas anymore, so no dinos for me. I did get an Amazon gift card which I will definitely use to get me some new models, but sheesh.

@Blade: I think that's it! I have a similar-looking Brachiosaurus skeleton from the same line.
