I just found this awesome image online and I had to ask: are you going to draw your Kolponomos like this (but maybe with webbed paws instead of these type of feet)? If so, then awesome, because this is by far the coolest Kolponomos I've ever seen ;D!

The following link explains this reconstruction: http://other-worlds.ucoz.ru/index/kolponomos_2/0-7

[Off Nick and Eddie's reactions to the dinosaurs] Oh yeah "Ooh, aah", that's how it always starts. But then there's running and screaming.

{about the T-Rex) When he sees us with his kid isn't he gonna be like "you"!?

Thanks Yutyrannus! I've seen that picture before. It's pretty awesome!

I am going to do a little bitter sweet thing. I want to illustrate the evolution of certain mammals in this series, in as little as six episodes. I am illustrating whale evolution, horse evolution, cat evolution, and human evolution, though those are the ones most focused on. From my current choices of formation, this blocks me from illustrating human evolution, which I really want to do, without having a sudden episode in which is goes like "hey all the sudden, hominids!" I want to show the progression of this.

So, this format for me is a lot better, even though this will be challenging when drawing the creatures.

I made up a Miocene Africa episode, which illustrates the first hominids, and cat evolution, two important things for me. So, I have this new format, I'll work on it, and some episodes will be cut, and some will stay, but just be prepared. For right now the Ambulocetus episode is not going to cut for sure, as I want to illustrate whale evolution. So, be prepared.

Yutyrannus

If you are going to do cat evolution than you should put in Styriofelis attica, the ancestor of modern big cats :).

"The world's still the same. There's just less in it."

Balaur

Okay, I'll do that.

Also, I just freed up a ton of room for myself because while I wasn't going to draw the homo habilis and Paranthropus boisei, I am for sure going to draw this ape in the 4th episode, Pierolapithecus.

Yutyrannus

When are you going to post the Ambulocetus and Barbourofelis?

"The world's still the same. There's just less in it."

Balaur

Sorry for not responding that much. I have been really busy with school. I should be able to post the Ambulocetus today and finish and post my Barboroufelis today. ;)

Sorry, I thought I had time, but I didn't. I'll try to get them up today.

Yutyrannus

Hopefully you can post them today, I can't wait for these two :)!

My Ambulocetus is loading up. Should post it soon!

Also, the picture of Barboroufelis you see does have the patterns of a clouded leopard, but I haven't coloured brown in it yet, so you'll just see the brownless version for now.

Balaur

And, here is my highly anticipated otter-whale, Ambulocetus!

Yutyrannus

This guy is just plain adorable ;D! Also, time for Ambulocetus comparison.

Mine is a much sleeker hydrodynamic animal than yours. Mine has small vestigial ears and short fur while yours has no external ears and is very fuzzy. Mine is more like a river otter while yours is more like a sea otter.

YES YES YES!! I was hoping for that reaction. ;D

I tried to get away from the monster ugly looking furless creature that people tend to depict them as. I was actually inspired by this incredible piece of art by Bethany Vargeson.

Yutyrannus

I thought you based on that picture, it is awesome :)! Also, when will you post Barbourofelis? And hopefully I will be able to color and post the Homotherium in my series soon.

Balaur

I am posting the Barboroufelis................... NOW!!!!! It does have a white body, but I haven't coloured it brown yet, so expect that soon.

Also, I have gotten nearly all my episodes done, just any suggestions for the fifth episode would be more than welcome. :)

Yutyrannus

Did you use the picture of a female Asiatic Lion on Wikipedia as the reference for this? That is what I used for my Homotherium :). Anyway, awesome picture!
