the Penta is ok and i might even buy it. at least it isnt as horrible as the last Triceratops.

Yep definatly.

CityRaptor

The Penta is probably Schleich's best Ceratopsian so far.
Jurassic Park is frightning in the dark
All the dinosaurs are running wild
Someone let T. Rex out of his pen
I'm afraid those things'll harm me
'Cause they sure don't act like Barney
And they think that I'm their dinner, not their friend
Oh no

let me correct myself: at least it isnt as abominable as the last Styracosaurus

I doubt that, some of the ones I own are quite good. They are the old ones such as the brachiasaurus.

SpaceCrab

I quite like the Therizinosaurus and Pentaceratops, but the other two look pretty bad.

I agree, Schleich used to have some pretty good models. Their Parasaurolophus is still among the best for that genus.

Which one?
This one:

But also they have other good prehistorics like:

Sobreviviendo a la extinción!!!

Yeah that one is good, the later one's colour scene has chinasaurus written all over it.

In case anyone's interested, here some close shots of the new Tyrannosaurus

One of the things I noticed is that they are no longer putting the name of the dinosaur on there belly.  Just goes to show how much they care about the creatures

Gwangi

What made you decide it was even worth getting?  :o Just curious.

Takama

well I hated the other ones pose.   I thought this one was a little more realistic, despite its bright coloration and clown feet, and the tail seemed longer in the publicity photos, so that had me get it as well.

I also have the Kaiju monster Therizinosaurus coming to me from DeJankins.   I might get it on Tuesday

To each their own I guess. The shame of it is that the detail on these new Schleich dinosaurs really is pretty good. It's just the proportions, paint job, accuracy and well...everything else that works against them. The Pentaceratops is the only one that interests me.

If you look at that  one for a bit he really does resemble the newer toy story rex toys in a big way.

He wouldn't be making a profit then. In fact, he'd be losing money.
