I recently downloaded Sculptris Alpha 6 on my computer. It is a 3D sculpting program by Pixelogic. Does anyone know how to sculpt dinosaur models in this program? Any advice on this matter is appreciated :).

I had the same problem, but I known that scultris comes out symmetrical, which is not ideal for dinosaur models

Yes, it does do that, but I'm pretty sure there is some way to get it not to.

Yeah I know how, just not how to explain it :-[

If Sculptris doesn't work, I recommend getting Blender instead. I'll probably switch them myself. But that still leaves the problem of how to sculpt animals :-\.

I haven't used Sculptris, but I think it's a great tool to begin with 3d sculpting. I'd only recommend you to sculpt simple models at first, try to model separate parts and practice a lot. It's just a suggestion, sometimes if you begin with something really complex it's a bit frustrating. Here is a video that someone uploaded to Youtube, maybe it can inspire you. Good luck!

I think symetry will be a plugin. One friend make a corythosaurus in sculptris very well! But ZBrush is more complete

[Off Nick and Eddie's reactions to the dinosaurs] Oh yeah "Ooh, aah", that's how it always starts. But then there's running and screaming.

{about the T-Rex) When he sees us with his kid isn't he gonna be like "you"!?
