Nice photograph of Banjo the australovenator by the way I see that it is supported by that primitive man. Does this figure have sustainability problems? In my case I have no problems keeping it standing, but I have already seen comments in the DTF in reference to the poor stability of that figure. In my case I feel like a very lucky person when it comes to Banjo.

Hi Manuel, my Banjo can stand just fine. He just wants a cuddle with stone age Charlie Darwin 😂

Great photo Helge. Still waiting to get to Oz myself.

May be we need a thread for quirky photo sets to take our minds of things.

Probably very few people have love for Timpos but after an epic trade today, I have a gang of seven rexes dancing on my shelves.

Sharing the shelf is the single rarest mass produced figure I have owned. A complete timpo stegosaurus, both that I own were traded. In ten years of searching I've never found a complete one myself.

Although they are not figures that I would collect in my case, I have to admit that the Timpo tyrannosaurus are very curious figures and on that collection of various Timpo tyrannosaurus in paint versions they give a very colorful image to the shelves. They remind me a lot of my collection of velociraptor hatching from Rebor's egg in its different versions of paint. My congratulations UK for having such a beautiful and varied collection.

Small update of display and a rare addition or two.

Those are lovely metal flats. What are they, and are they still for sale anywhere? I have a hard time telling the difference between the new and vintage flats.
We are accustomed to look upon the shackled form of a conquered monster, but there - there you could look at a thing monstrous and free." - King Kong, 2005

Agree with avatar_BlueKrono @BlueKrono, those flats are very nice. Also appreciating the retro style pieces like Gwangi and the Loch Ness Monster.

Is that a Britains' Grenadier Guard on the glass shelf? It reminds me a bit of the film "Zulu", but I don't fancy his chances with what's heading towards him behind the Pachycephalosaurus!

You have some really interesting retro figures.  What are the figures left of the Og figures?  You also have some interesting shelves.  Wht are the shelves that look like they've been stacked or something

Thank you for your kind comments S @stoneage

The silver figures are kaiyodo dinometal including the hard to find skull. Behind is an Inpro Brontosaurus and the small figures are from the Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy.

The wood boxes are remnants from bottles of Port my daughter buys me for Christmas or my Birthday. They have come in very hand!

A rare thing these days .... a new figure. Well I say 'new' a new vintage figure. Hanging precariously on the side of a shower unit is a figure I've chased for a little while. The Safari Carnegie collection Tylosaurus. Quite a nice piece though I probably paid a little over the odds due to the scarcity in the UK.

Yay, and update! Nice catch😃
It never fails to impress me how much you are able to fit in your display every time I see those "larger" figures 😃
Hope you're doing well.

Shonisaurus

How do you keep those dinosaurs on the wall? It's cool to see the Safari mosasaurus suspended in the air.

My congratulations for all your figures.

Hi avatar_Shonisaurus @Shonisaurus, thank you for your comments as always. I managed to suspend the Tylosaurus using a bulldog clip, paper clips and a rubber band 🤣

Some new figures for the first time in a long while. No doubt the ovomaltine line splits the forum. The marmite dinosaur line.

Loon

I have to say, these are the most bizzare figures I've ever seen. I can't even tell what one of them is, but that's kind of charming.

Ah, I thought it was some sort of Ankylosaur. It's definitely a bit more of a stretch than the others, but still, I find these small monotone toys very appealing for some reason.
