Finally.....

It's cost a bit and taken a long time but I have managed to complete the 2004 expo set. And what a set it is too.

Roselaar

Congrats, that is a beautiful figure indeed. BTW, I always thought the arms of my sample of this figure had broken off and someone meticulously glued them back on, but looking at the box it seems they're suppose to look like that. The actual loose figure you posted here makes me doubtful again, though that might just be the angle you shot it at.

UK

These feel like new figures. Look much much better and feel so very different too. Thanks again Copper.

And then there is the newly painted Timpo Rex to settle in......

Here is the original 1950's green to contrast with the modern work of art.

Keep The Magic Alive and Kicking! :-)

Two more rarities in the bag, just a few more and I have finished my quest.

First the 2009 expo Spinosauruas

And the gorgeous 2004 Study Room Apatosaurus

postsaurischian

:) Congrats especially on the Apatosaurus. It's a rare gem since it's out of production now.
How do you know it's from 2004?

I think that's the year that the set was released. There's only been the one.

Uh-huh!
Unfortunately there are no production dates on the figures' boxes and I did not discover these gems before 2009 :-[.

At last, finally completed my painted 1950's timpo set with the help of Invicta-Hunter. Cheers Jim, a great set and that stegosaurus is a marvel for its time.

Invicta Hunter

Im glad to see he turned up safely and the set really does look great mate.

I adore those 'Oldies' Desktop models. Where did you get them from? They're really beautifully inaccurate. :P

They are indeed wonderful. I was fortunate to get them from Dean Walker, proprietor of Dejankins.com. I think he can still get hold of some at a great price.

Finally finished the Collect Club figures. Wonderful series and the best was saved to last. The skeletal fight scene is marvellous and I thank Chad so much for his kindness is sending the figure.

Sorry about the quality of photos my camera phone is not the best, will update them at some point with improved quality later.

ITdactyl

that dsungaripterus....

does anyone still sell that? (and doesn't require one to sell a liver and soul?)

It's a tough one. I've only seen them on Jauce and very rarely at that. It is really outstanding, though. That whole set is remarkable.

By the way, the set looks great put together UK. I'm glad I could help bring it together!

docronnie

Congrats Steve!  :)

I had that Dsungaripterus in my hands, but did not buy, since I don't know anything about Pterosaurs.  Hope I could encounter one in the future again.

Finally got the last two missing Kaiyodo Study Room figures.

The beautiful Triceratops Horridus and the whale skeleton.

It's a shame my phone and photography skills are so limited.

Also with this bundle of joy was a complete set of the King Kong bottle top collection. Absolutely fantastic.

Photos to follow soon.

The result of my wallet wrenching Jauce adventure. Wonderful Kaiyodo figures.

The King Kong bottle tops in their spendeour, I cannot ever see a set of this quality being released in the UK.

Chad

Great stuff UK. You must have needed a smoke after going through that Jauce shipment! That's about as good as it gets.
