A few quick color concepts from yesterday night for my Baryonyx model. These are fun!

I think the third and fourth look the most realistic. They would help the Baryonyx blend in to the murky water.

A lot of anatomical inaccuracies. The feet are too lizard-like, the posterior side of the head is shrink-wrapped, the ear is placed within the inferior temporal fenestra (as opposed to behind the skull, where it belongs), overall placement of muscles and their thickness is inaccurate and so on. I've learned too much about dinosaur anatomy in between to still consider it alright.

Actually I really hope that the dev team don´t decide to add mercenaries and bikes and cars and modern weapons and all that nonsense to the game. One thing that I hate about the isle is the super tall grass. If by any means you can tell the dev team,please do. It breaks all the immersion. That grass they have there it is way taller than a human being! makes the dinosaurs look the size of a dog.

You should keep in mind that the whole vegetation that's in the game now is not going to stay. Everything that's in right now is pre-bought, we have someone custom build plants for us for the final maps. As for mercenaries: they are part of the whole concept of The Isle and crucial to the storyline.
The tall grass right now is in so that the raptors, Dryosaurus and Gallimimus have something to hide in.

Yeah I understand that almost everything is placeholder right now. It is a pity that the mercenaries are key, cause in my opinion it will take away the uniqueness of the game. I am not against introducing humans, and I know that they have different factions planned, some of them more "tribal" and I like that...but these mercenaries with vehicles and modern weaponry....just my 2 cents!
