I have hundreds, but they all require me to go camping in the wilderness with my valuable figures.

I've got a special one in mind, and should be able to get it done soon. Just need a good day with the right conditions to do it.

By diorama, are we talking only about photos of prehistoric figures in nature (forests, etc.) or can we build our diorama out of resin, etc?
If the sculptor has nothing but science his hands will have no art.

I have another question. This kinda wasn't clear with me, but do the pictures need a title and a backstory, or just a title?

If I remember correctly I think just a title is good.

It's about time I announced the judges! The three judges, who have kindly offered their time and expertise to pick the winners of the Dinosaur Diorama Contest 2012, are...

Dr Darren Naish. Darren is a palaeontologist and science writer who has authored several books on dinosaurs. He runs the Tetrapod Zoology blog, and is a fellow dinosaur toy enthusiast.

Bob Nicholls. Bob is a professional palaeoartist who has produced beautiful dinosaur artwork for countless publications and exhibitions. See his work on Palaeocreations.

Dr Dave Hone. Dave is a palaeontologist who specialises on dinosaurs and pterosaurs. He also runs the Archosaur Musings blog, and is the driving force behind Ask a Biologist.

Are we allowed to use a trademark as long as it is not small or obtrusive to prevent plagarism of our work? Thanks.
Authors with varying competence have suggested dinosaurs disappeared because of meteorites...God's will, raids by little green hunters in flying saucers, lack of standing room in Noah's Ark, and palaeoweltschmerz—Glenn Jepsen

The voting and judging should be anonymous, so you can't include anything that might identify you.
I could put a small dinotoyblog.com watermark on each entry. However, I think the risk of any plagiarism is minimal (I'm not aware of any issues arising from past contests). Of course, worried entrants could always refrain from entering the contest, but I'd ask them to take the risk in the spirit of competition and fun :)

Bokisaurus

Ohhhh, impressive list! I'm looking forward to see everyones work! :)

Oh Boy. this is going to be tense with these judges on duty.

My thoughts exactly. I'm actually kind of nervous jumping into this.

Are contestants in the competition from any country? Please inform me because I'm from Armenia and I don't know if I can participate.

The contest is open to the whole world - everyone is welcome to participate! Actually, the more diversity the better!

Aram-Rex
