Well, there are knock-offs of the Stego, Toro and Bronto. And technically every toy of Rex from Toy Story is a knock-off, but this one seems to be the real thing. There being "no producer's brand" seems to be the result of it lacking the battery cover. Otherwise, having seen enough german ebay auctions, it "Not being a Schleich = No Name" for many people.
So yes, I think this is the real deal.

The tyco dinosaurs all had the marking on the battery covers. This dino riders t-rex is 100% genuine

The knockoff stego toro and bronto are all motorized figures and the quality is noticeably different/less great than the original toys. They  have light up eyes and make roaring sounds. Not to mention they are all in the same scale to eachother. So the knockoff bronto is about the same size as the toro and stego. Theres significant molding differences on them compared to the original tyco toys. I remember seeing them all new at the store in the 90's

Got my Edaphosaurus from one of this seller's sets and all the figures were in great condition including the tags. This set is offered since more than half a year, wonder why noone buys it, has a very good price (I myself however got all those figures already).

I figure it is due to just calling it "Dinosaurier" instead of giving names, therefore someone searching specifically for let's say the Archaeopteryx won't find it.

I'm not much into DinoRiders or their collectability and value, but 480 € for an empty box with obvious dents and shelf wear doesn't seem like a bargain.

Well, it has 14 watchers, but those are probably just waiting to see if someone is insane enough to pay that for an empty box. ;D Even if I had a Bronto ( one sold for 30 Euros last night, but I missed it ) I'm a person who believes in free range Dinosaurs...and not spending money on empty boxes.

Anyone interested in a robot dinosaur ( that sadly does not shoot beams when it roars ) ?
