Well it seems you gave a review of movies in your opening statement.  What is the point if not to discuss Skull Island.

Trisdino

The point is to discuss skull island, as in, the place, not the movie it was in. I just gave my quick review to get that out of the way.

And now we're all doing the same thing. :)

A "documentary" on the Skull Island wildlife would be a marvelous thing. Fits the mood of the explorers' photo in the book.

I have a Special edition of PJs King Kong that came with a fake documentary that acts like the whole event was a true story. It says the first explorers meant gruesome deaths, and the only proof that's left of Skull Islands Existence is the Bones of King Kong.

I really like your words about the World that Jackson and Weta team created! I have to said that Skull Island inspired me a lot to create my Spec Evo Project: Mu. I hope the Kong prequel will be teh same Skull Island that Jackson brought us 9 years ago. But could change like Hobbit Trilogy.

I'm honestly not surprised or angry that people called the Vastatosaurus a T rex. They were never named in the movie, only in ancillary materials like the Skull Island book that the majority of viewers never saw.

Um... How would a hypothetical tyrannosaur descendant re evolve a finger?
I may not like feathered dinosaurs and stumpy legged Spinosaurs, but I will keep those opinions to myself, I will not start a debate over it, I promise. 😇

It's not impossible but I don't think it would happen. The bone is still there, it's just vestigial.

I know, it would mean that it re grew the bones, and gained a new claw.
