Forum rule number 7 is: Topics concerning politics and religion are discouraged.  Maybe it's just me, but I thought that would also mean political topics are discouraged from being in a signature or in an image.  I'm not blaming anyone here, I'm just saying what I had been thinking.  Personally, I feel uncomfortable with extreme political topics appearing on this forum in a casual manner.  Hitler is one example of this, and I appreciate CrypticPrism removing that from his signature.  Another example is posting an image of Donald Trump in a thread about dinosaur classification, it's Reply #47 here: http://dinotoyblog.com/forum/index.php?topic=5543.msg166270#msg166270

I feel making these extreme politicians appear on this forum like this isn't necessary or appropriate.  Personally, I'm not happy to see that image of Donald Trump remaining on this forum, due to the acceptance it seems to imply.  If that's how the admin/moderators feel it should be though, I accept that.

I'm not blaming.  Since CrypticPrism is 12 he might not realise why making these extreme politicians appear on this forum like that might cause upset.

Sim - I'm gonna point out a large blind spot in your post above.  That blind spot means that you did not realize that you just violated the exact rule that you are preaching in favor of, in your post above.  Re-read your post.  See it yet?

Hint - One of the political individuals listed in your post was a mass-murdering historical figure about whose evil there is no dispute.

My usage of the word "extreme" was referring to Donald Trump having done certain things that are far from average.  I don't think that's making a political argument.  Whichever way one might feel about him, I don't see how those things he has done can be considered moderate for a politician, and it's well known he has done things that have caused upset for many people.  My point was that Donald Trump is one of the political topics that is more likely to generate unpleasant reactions on this forum due to distinct things he has done.

A duly elected leader who most of the nation didn't vote for, who has already passed policies with measurable environmental harm, who has shown actions driven by Islamophobia, has taken reckless actions that have endangered the citizens of other nations, and who has shot down the rights of women and LGBT persons. Try to picture for a moment how terrifying it is to have this man in charge of a world superpower.

He used to seem ok enough by modern aristocrat standards, but he sacrificed his own opinions (which he expressed very vocally since... ever) in order to win the presidency. He thrives on a lack of any integrity and will go along with whatever the vocal minority within his party wants so long as they feed him power.

That being said, that picture was a meme. I'm a lot more annoyed when I see meme's in places they don't belong than seeing Donald Trump being the joke that he is.

Okay, up until now, I've said nothing about all of this, though perhaps I should have (please note - "should have" NOT "should of". It has been very distressing to watch various members of this supposedly friendly community gang up on someone we all know very little about. For instance, for all we all know, Killekor could be living in a miserable home/school environment. This community may have been his escape. He may have any number of health (including mental - autism, depression etc.) issues.

Thankfully, there are people here who reached out to him (you know who you are). However, unfortunately, the clamor of criticism and rebuke seems to have driven him away. He is not a nasty or negative person. Shame on all of you who even now, cannot hold your tongues. For all you know Blue Krono, Killekor could have just mustered the coourage to revisit the forum when, to his horror, the first post he reads, after all this time is your nasty, spiteful and unnecessary dig.

Come on Adam, please weigh in on this and call an end to this Killekor bashing. If necessary, ban a few people for unnecessary, hurtful comments. This is cyber bullying. I'm sick of the immature attacks on a mere kid. It's getting to the point where, although I suffer no illusions about being missed, should I never return, nonetheless, I'm considering leaving this "friendly community"!

I never directed anything rude towards Killekor. Also, please don't leave, we've lost enough members. I also agree it needs to stop. I know what it's like to be suicidal, depressed, and socially anxious at the same time. It's horrible. For all we know, Killekor could be socially awkward and lost the only chance he had at the time to make friends. I know I'd be extremely upset in a situation like this.
